Featuring a ‘50s U-shaped Maple neck with a 7.25” radius and Narrow Tall frets, this Tele strikes the perfect balance of speed and comfort and is a pleasure to play up and down the fingerboard, no matter what genre. Its Ash body provides a well-rounded tone with sweet and clear articulation and a lively musical resonance.

We pushed the limits even further by selecting a special Nitrocellulose Road Worn finish which has been specifically aged to mimic the natural ageing and finish checking that occurs over time, even after only the most careful use. Its duo of Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups provides a best of both situation with Strat-like glassiness in the neck position and unapologetic Tele twang in the bridge, and its Classic Series hardshell case offers premium protection both at home and on the road.

Twisted Tele

Fender’s Twisted Tele pickups merge the boundaries between the crystal, bell-like chime of a Strat and the higher output twang of a Tele. These Custom Shop designed and made pickups are built using Alnico 5 for an overall vintage-styled tonality that sits comfortably with all playing styles. The neck pickup features a taller bobbin for increased wind space and is wound using Formvar-coated magnet wire for enhanced Strat-like glassiness. The bridge pickup bobbin height is decreased, and Enamel-coated wire is used for a darker, warmer tone with a more open, full-bodied midrange. These uniquely tailored pickups are well-balanced and truly offer a best-of-both-worlds Fender electric guitar tone.
