What is a 1/2-size guitar?
Half size guitars are tuned and played just like their full size counterparts (E-A-D-G-B-E) so the child will get an authentic playing experience that will encourage them to practice. This is the best guitar body for kids aged five to eight years old to get started on their musical journey.
Adults with smaller hands would benefit from the smaller body size too! However, if you’re after the next size up then why not check out the EastCoast C1 3/4. The EastCoast C1 also comes with a padded gig bag to keep it protected against the elements when it's time to leave the house!
Features
- Starter pack: Includes recommended accessories for beginners to get to grips with acoustic guitar.
- 1/2 Sized: The perfect entry-level guitar for children aged between 5 and 8 years old!
- Nylon Strung: Unlike contemporary acoustic and electric guitars with metal strings, Classical guitars such as the Eastcoast C1 feature Nylon strings. These provide an easier playing experience as well as providing a more gentle tone.
- Padded Gigbag Included: Easily go between home, school and lessons with the included padded gigbag!
