If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

The Cordoba Iberia C5 Spruce is a beautifully built classical guitar that brings traditional Spanish craftsmanship to an accessible price point. Based on Cordoba’s much-loved C5, this version swaps in a solid Engelmann spruce top for a brighter, more articulate voice that is perfect for beginners and advancing players alike. Lightweight, comfortable and responsive, it is an inspiring first nylon-string guitar that will happily see you through years of practice and performance.
Handmade in the traditional Spanish style, the C5 Spruce combines a solid top with mahogany back and sides, Pau Ferro appointments and a gloss polyurethane finish for a look and feel that far outperforms its entry-level status. A built-in adjustable truss rod adds welcome neck stability, while quality components like bone nut and saddle and Savarez strings help the guitar ring clearly with excellent sustain.
Traditional Spanish Construction
The C5 Spruce is built in the classical Spanish tradition, with a dovetail neck joint, carved headstock and hand-inlaid wooden rosette. This approach gives the guitar a lively, resonant character and a more authentic playing experience, making it an ideal introduction to the feel and sound of a true classical instrument.
Solid Engelmann Spruce Top
At the heart of the C5 Spruce is its solid Engelmann spruce soundboard, braced with a traditional fan pattern. This combination delivers a clear, powerful tone with excellent projection and definition, helping every note in your chords and melodies to speak cleanly. As a solid top, it will also open up and improve tonally the more you play.
Comfortable Neck with Adjustable Truss Rod
The mahogany neck is carved to a comfortable C shape that feels natural in the hand, whether you are working on your first chords or tackling more advanced repertoire. A lightweight adjustable truss rod is built into the neck for added stability and fine-tuning of the neck relief, giving you a more consistent playing feel over time.
Refined Appointments and Finish
Pau Ferro is used for the fingerboard, bridge, binding and back centre strip, adding a touch of visual elegance as well as a smooth playing surface. Pearl white tuning buttons, composite back binding and a high-gloss polyurethane finish complete a classy aesthetic that helps the C5 Spruce stand out from other guitars in its class.
