Product Description
Introducing the Chapman DPT II – the long-anticipated follow-up to Danish Pete’s original Chapman signature electric guitar. Taking inspiration from Pete’s favourite T-Style guitar, the Chapman DPT II combines vintage style with some modern, performance-built features that Chapman Guitars is best known for, plus the addition of a duo of carefully selected Wilkinson humbucker pickups! Composed of a 14.5K Alnico V zebra humbucker in the bridge in partnership with a chrome-covered 9.7K Alnico V in the neck position, this combo was selected by Pete for their versatility, covering everything from his signature blues tones all the way to full-throttle soaring humbucking leads.
Featuring an Alder body for balanced and beautiful resonance, a comfortably familiar “C” shape neck, Rosewood fretboard for silky smooth warmth partnered with an effortless countered neck heel and body curves, this Signature Chapman is the perfect vintage-style instrument for the contemporary player. And just like the original DPT, the neck on the DPT II is a direct scan of Pete's purple Tele, giving you his signature comfort and playability up and down the fingerboard.
“I am so proud of how this guitar turned out, it plays and sounds amazing and talking about the feeling, nothing will be closer to my OG purple guitar than the DPT. I just love it.” Pete Honoré
