Pedal Platform Amps

Pedal Platform Amps

Versatile amps that are packed full of different sounds and even effects can be great. However, if you love to quite literally have all of your tones at your feet on a pedalboard; a no-nonsense, high-wattage amp is the logical choice.

Classic Marshall amps are popular as pedal platforms, as their clean tones have a slightly compressed quality that lend themselves well to raunchy overdrive and distortion pedals.

Fender and Vox amps are famously loud, and their signature high-headroom designs can allow pedals to really open up and show their true colours. Milkman and Morgan amps have a similar character; acclaimed for sounding pure and crystal-clear even at stage levels.

Many of our pedal platform amps also feature what are known as 'effects loops'. These let you run certain pedals between an amp's preamp and power amp sections, and are typically used by players that employ time-based and modulation pedals. So, if you like to use delay, reverb and chorus pedals for instance; routing them through an effects loop will yield the best results!
