Dynamic Microphones

Dynamic Microphones are favourites of both the Studio and the stage, thanks to their durability, directionality and feedback protection. From Live Vocal mics to bass drums and electric guitar cabs; we have dynamic mics to cover all your needsto get the best out of your recording or performance!

Our dynamic microphones cover a huge range of uses and come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. From small, close proximity clamp mics to attach to tom drums and the bells of saxophones, to bigger bass mics that are perfectly designed to pick up the low-frequency high-spl transients of kick drums and bass guitar amps.

The inherent off axis rejection and feedback protection of dynamic microphones mean that they are often the first choice for vocalists on stage. Classic cardioid patterned microphones like the industry staple Shure SM58 and Sennheiser E935 can capture the vocalists voice with presence and clarity whilst rejecting all the noise and interference that fills the rest of the stage. This means that you can give a full performance without worrying about the technical aspects.(leave it to the engineer!)

Dynamic mics are also fantastic at close-micing drums, percussion instruments, guitar amps and other loud sources. They're not as sensitive as condenser and ribbon microphones, so can sit close, capturing the fast transients without overloading the capsule. If you're looking for a full microphone kit for your drums, we also offer drum packs from Universal Audio, Behringer, Warm Audio, Aston Microphones,Sennheiser, Shure, Sontronics, AKG and more.
