Boss Katana 25 Compact 25W Guitar Amp Combo

The Boss Katana 25 brings the acclaimed Katana sound and feel into a compact 25 watt combo that is purpose-built for home and practice use. With six versatile amp characters, over 60 Boss effects and powerful editing via Bluetooth and USB, it delivers inspiring tones for beginners and experienced players alike, all in a lightweight amp that is easy to move between rooms, rehearsals and lessons.

At the heart of the Katana 25 is Boss Tube Logic technology and a reactive analogue power amp, recreating the dynamic response and expressive punch of a traditional valve amp. A custom 8 inch speaker and optimised open-back cabinet provide rich bass, clear highs and plenty of projection, while the Power Control lets you switch between 25 watts and 0.5 watts so you can enjoy cranked tones at bedroom-friendly levels.

Six amp characters with variations cover everything from sparkling clean and edge-of-breakup crunch through to tight modern gain and the iconic Brown sound. There is also a dedicated acoustic-electric character, making this a flexible solution if you play both electric and electro-acoustic guitars. With 30 Tone Setting memories on board, including 20 ready-to-play factory presets and 10 user slots, you can quickly recall your favourite sounds for practice, jamming and recording.

Over 60 Boss effects are available, with up to five running at once, so you can build complete rigs inside the amp without needing a pedalboard. The clear backlit LCD and intuitive front panel controls make it easy to browse presets, tweak EQ and adjust effects, while Bluetooth and the updated Boss Tone Studio app unlock deeper editing, Tone Exchange downloads and handy practice tools such as YouTube integration and automatic Tone Setting changes during playback.

Valve-Inspired Feel at Home-Friendly Volumes

Boss Tube Logic and the reactive analogue power amp give the Katana 25 a responsive, valve-like feel that reacts to your picking dynamics and guitar volume. The Power Control lets you switch between full 25 watt output and 0.5 watt mode, so you can push the amp into natural drive and saturation without excessive volume, ideal for late-night practice and small spaces.

Versatile Amp Characters for Electric and Acoustic

With six amp characters and additional variations, the Katana 25 covers a wide tonal spectrum from glassy clean and classic crunch to high gain Brown tones. The dedicated acoustic-electric character means you can plug in an electro-acoustic guitar and get a more appropriate, full-range response, making this a practical all-rounder for players who switch between instruments.

Deep Effects and Presets Without the Pedalboard

Over 60 Boss effects are built in, with up to five usable at the same time, so you can create complete rigs with drives, modulations, delays and reverbs inside the amp. Thirty Tone Setting memories, including 20 factory presets and 10 user slots, let you store and instantly recall your favourite combinations, keeping your practice and rehearsal setup streamlined.

Modern Connectivity for Practice and Recording

Integrated Bluetooth allows wireless audio streaming from your phone or tablet, so you can jam along with tracks and online lessons. The updated Boss Tone Studio app provides deep editing, global EQ and access to Boss Tone Exchange, while USB-C turns the Katana 25 into a simple audio interface for direct recording. A dedicated headphone and recording output supports quiet practice and easy capture of your tones.
