Zoom F2 Compact Field Recorder With Lavalier Mic & Bluetooth

The Zoom F2-BT is an ultra-compact field recorder and lavalier microphone bundle designed for creators who need flawless dialogue capture without fuss. With 32-bit float recording, built-in Bluetooth control and wireless timecode support, it lets podcasters, filmmakers, vloggers and journalists capture broadcast-quality audio on the move, without worrying about clipping, gain settings or missed takes.

At the heart of the F2-BT is Zoom’s 32-bit float technology, which delivers a huge dynamic range and captures everything from whispers to shouts without distortion. Paired with the included LMF-2 omnidirectional lavalier mic, it gives you clean, natural speech in a discreet, wearable format that is ideal for interviews, location shoots and run-and-gun content creation.

The recorder itself is incredibly small and light, slipping easily into a pocket or clipping to a belt, while still offering practical features such as a Rec Hold switch, dedicated headphone level control and a low cut filter to tame rumble. Recording directly to microSD media up to 1 TB, the F2-BT is built for long sessions and demanding days on set.

With Bluetooth connectivity, the F2-BT works with the F2 Control app for remote transport control and settings adjustment, and supports wireless timecode synchronisation when used with compatible systems. Whether you are syncing audio to video in post or simply need a reliable, hands-off recorder for talent, the F2-BT is a powerful, pocket-sized solution.

Effortless 32-bit Float Recording

The F2-BT records in 32-bit float at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, capturing a massive dynamic range so your audio will not clip, even if levels suddenly jump. With no input gain to set, you can focus on the performance and the shot rather than constantly riding levels or worrying about distortion.

Compact, Creator-Friendly Design

Weighing just 32 g and small enough to disappear on a belt or in a pocket, the F2-BT is built for creators on the move. The Rec Hold function prevents accidental button presses, while the dedicated volume control for the headphone and line output makes on-the-spot monitoring simple and precise.

Included LMF-2 Lavalier Microphone

The supplied LMF-2 lavalier mic connects via a locking 3.5 mm mini jack and features an omnidirectional pickup pattern for consistent, natural speech capture. With a maximum input of 115 dB SPL and a 160 cm cable, it is well suited to interviews, dialogue and documentary work where reliability and discretion are key.

Bluetooth Control and Timecode Ready

Built-in Bluetooth lets you pair the F2-BT with the F2 Control app for remote transport control and quick access to settings, ideal when the recorder is hidden on talent. The unit also supports wireless timecode synchronisation, helping to keep your audio and video locked together in post-production.

• 32-bit Float, Clip-Free Recording - Capture everything from quiet speech to loud exclamations without distortion or the need to set gain. The dual AD conversion system preserves full dynamic range, giving you clean, usable audio even in unpredictable environments.
• Ultra-Compact, Lightweight Recorder - At just 57.5 mm x 46.4 mm x 22.4 mm and 32 g, the F2-BT is easy to conceal on talent or carry all day. Its Rec Hold switch and simple control layout make it ideal for fast-paced shoots and solo operators.
• LMF-2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Mic Included - The included lav mic with locking 3.5 mm connector delivers clear, consistent voice capture with a sensitivity of -32 dB/Pa and a maximum SPL of 115 dB, making it a dependable choice for spoken word content.
• Bluetooth App Control and Wireless Timecode - Built-in Bluetooth (F2-BT model) enables remote control and configuration via the F2 Control app, while wireless timecode sync support helps streamline multi-camera and dual-system sound workflows.
