Product Description
The Wolff Audio Quad Tutti is a four channel, 1U rackmount preamp that faithfully recreates the legendary Sunset Sound console circuitry in a modern, studio friendly format. Built around the original Tutti Camarata design and loaded with original spec Cinemag transformers, it delivers the warm, open and harmonically rich tone heard on countless classic records, while giving you four identical channels for today’s multi mic sessions.
Developed in direct collaboration with Sunset Sound Recorders, Quad Tutti keeps the signal path pure and purposeful. Premium, audiophile grade components and a straightforward control layout make it easy to dial in authoritative gain, depth and dimension on vocals, drums, guitars, bass or orchestral sources, all from a single 1U unit that drops straight into any modern tracking rig.
Classic Sunset Sound Tone, Times Four
At the heart of Quad Tutti is the original Tutti Camarata preamp circuit, meticulously recreated to capture the exact tonal fingerprint of the Sunset Sound console. Each of the four channels shares the same design, so you can build complete signal chains with matching character across an entire drum kit, stereo guitars or ensemble recordings without juggling multiple single channel units.
Cinemag Transformer Warmth
Original spec Cinemag transformers sit at the core of each channel, delivering the harmonic richness, weight and musical saturation associated with the classic studio era. The transformer coupled signal path preserves dynamic integrity while adding the subtle colour and depth that helps sources sit naturally in a mix, whether you are tracking clean and open or pushing into more characterful territory.
Modern Reliability, Vintage Soul
Quad Tutti combines its heritage circuit with carefully chosen, audiophile grade components for long term stability and low noise performance. Every transformer and capacitor is matched to the historic console specification in partnership with Sunset Sound, so you get the sound of a revered control room in a robust, modern chassis that is ready for daily studio use.
Streamlined Workflow in 1U
The compact 1U rack format saves valuable space while giving you four fully featured channels in a single unit. A clean, intuitive front panel puts all essential controls within easy reach, allowing engineers to move quickly between sources and sessions. Quad Tutti integrates effortlessly with contemporary interfaces and outboard, making it a powerful front end for any hybrid or in the box setup.
