Wolff Audio

Professional Analogue Audio, Built for the Future

Wolff Audio combines decades of professional audio engineering experience with modern studio design. Founded by legendary engineer Paul Wolff, the company creates high-performance analogue equipment for recording engineers, producers and professional studios, drawing on proven console designs while developing new solutions for today's workflows.

From large-format analogue consoles and sophisticated routing systems to 500-series microphonepreamps, EQs and monitoring equipment, Wolff Audio focuses on exceptional audio performance, reliability and intuitive operation. Its products are designed to give engineers precise control over their signal paths while retaining the character and immediacy of analogue recording.

Analogue Consoles

At the heart of Wolff Audio's range are its professional analogue console designs. The Console ST combines traditional analogue signal processing with modern workflow features, including swappable tone-card summing buses, up to 96 inputs at mixdown and true flying-fader analogue automation.

Designed for demanding recording and mixing environments, Wolff Audio consoles bring the company's approach to analogue circuit design into a flexible, contemporary studio format. Engineers can configure their systems around the requirements of their own facilities, with the Wolff Audio Console Configurator providing a way to build a customised console setup.

Microphone Preamps

Wolff Audio's microphone preamps bring its console-derived circuitry into compact formats suitable for modern recording systems. The Wolff W-1, for example, takes the microphone preamp architecture from Wolff's large-format consoles and places it into a single-channel 500-series module, combining custom Cinemag transformers, relay-controlled switching and a high-headroom design.

The range also includes the Tutti, developed in collaboration with Sunset Sound and based on the legendary preamp circuit used in the studio's historic consoles. The RefPre takes a different approach, offering a transparent, transformerless design intended to preserve the natural character of microphones and other sources.

EQ & Signal Processing

Wolff Audio also produces analogue processing designed to give engineers detailed control over their recordings. The Wolff Freq is a four-band proportional-Q parametric EQ in the 500-series format, combining the broad musical response associated with proportional-Q designs with the ability to make precise cuts using its 1/3-octave capability.

These products reflect Wolff Audio's wider approach to analogue processing: highly controllable circuits designed to provide useful tonal shaping without compromising the workflow that makes hands-on studio hardware so immediate.

Studio Monitoring & Headphone Systems

Wolff Audio's monitoring products are designed to make recording sessions more straightforward for both engineers and performers. The MeMore personal monitor mixer gives artists direct control over their headphone mixes, with dedicated controls for level, pan and EQ alongside built-in talkback and room-ambience foldback.

For larger sessions, the Collaborator provides four independent high-definition headphone amplifier channels, each with its own level control and output. Multiple units can be linked together, allowing the system to expand as the requirements of a recording session grow.

Professional Signal Routing

Wolff Audio also takes a modern approach to one of the most fundamental parts of a recording studio: signal routing. The ProPatch combines relay-switched analogue patching with software control, allowing engineers to route and recall complex studio configurations without placing active electronics in the audio signal path.

Designed for studios with extensive outboard equipment, ProPatch provides a flexible way to manage analogue connections while retaining the sonic integrity and hands-on workflow expected from professional studio hardware.

Built on Engineering Expertise

Across its consoles, microphone preamps, EQs, monitoring systems and signal-routing products, Wolff Audio's philosophy is rooted in professional studio engineering. The company combines established analogue circuit designs with modern features and workflows, creating equipment intended for engineers who want detailed control, dependable performance and the character of high-quality analogue audio.
