Flexible On-board EQ

Two independent EQ switches on the body of the M82 give you instant tonal options without touching a desk or plug-in. The KICK EQ applies a focused mid cut centred around 350 Hz to reduce boxiness and tighten the sound, ideal for modern kick tones. The HIGH BOOST adds presence and air between 6 kHz and 10 kHz, enhancing beater attack on drums or intelligibility on vocals and speech.

Versatile End-address Design

With its end-address form factor, the M82 is straightforward to position in tight spaces around drum kits, amps and in broadcast setups. The cardioid polar pattern focuses on the source directly in front of the grille, helping to reject spill from other instruments and room ambience. This makes it a reliable choice for both live sound and controlled studio recording.
