If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

The Summer School Electronics Double Major is a dual k-style overdrive that takes the iconic transparent drive sound and turns it into a flexible two-channel powerhouse. With two identical circuits under one roof, selectable soft or hard germanium clipping on each side, and the ability to stack the channels in either order, it gives you everything from subtle always-on sweetness to harmonically rich, singing lead tones.
Each side of Double Major has its own Volume, Drive and Tone controls, clearly separated by red and black knobs so you can dial in two completely different voices and switch between them or stack them together. Whether you want a low-gain boost into a medium overdrive, two complementary gain stages for huge sustain, or a pair of flavours that you can call on throughout a set, Double Major keeps that classic clarity intact while massively expanding what it can do on your board.
Built by hand in Syracuse, NY, Double Major is designed as a reliable, gig-ready tool that drops straight onto any pedalboard with standard 9-volt DC power. It is a familiar sound, reimagined for modern players who need more than a single channel can offer.
Two Classic Circuits in One Box
Double Major takes the much-loved k-style circuit and doubles it, giving you two identical channels that can be used independently or stacked. This means you can keep that familiar, transparent character under your fingers while enjoying the practicality of a two-channel drive setup without changing the feel or response you are used to.
Independent Red and Black Channels
Each side of the pedal has its own Volume, Drive and Tone controls, with red and black knobs making it easy to see which channel you are adjusting at a glance. You can set one as a low-gain always-on tone shaper and the other as your main drive, or keep both as different gain levels that you can switch between instantly during a song.
Selectable Soft or Hard Germanium Clipping
Both channels feature selectable soft or hard germanium diode clipping, so you can fine-tune how each side responds under your pick. Choose softer clipping for a smoother, more open feel, or hard clipping for a tighter, more aggressive edge. You can even set one channel soft and the other hard, then stack them for complex, harmonically rich textures.
Stackable Dual Channel Design
Because the two channels are completely separate and stackable, Double Major can act as a boost into a drive, a drive into a boost, or two gain stages working together. This opens up a wide range of gain structures and dynamic responses, from subtle push to saturated sustain, all while retaining the clarity and touch sensitivity that k-style circuits are known for.
