A new compact Automation panel can be docked within the MixConsole or Project window, keeping key controls always visible without cluttering your layout. New functions such as Parameter Selection by touching plug-in controls, copy and paste of automation, individual track punch out in Latch Mode and clearer visual automation states make detailed mix moves easier to manage. Write on Play with clear Preview indication supports confident, non-destructive adjustments during mix passes.

Smarter multichannel and session management

Convert Channels streamlines multichannel work by automatically splitting or merging files to match your track layout. Break down surround clips into structured stems or combine mono files into stereo pairs across multiple tracks or on import, with file creation, routing and clip placement handled for you. Folder Tracks can now be assigned their own Group Channel, so everything inside a folder is automatically routed to a dedicated bus, keeping complex mix structures clearly organised and ready for fast balancing and printing.

Modern video and broadcast workflows

Nuendo 15 introduces flexible video export with selectable resolutions, encoding presets and the choice of software or GPU encoding. Text overlays from the active marker track allow timecode, dialogue and ADR attributes to be burned into reference videos exactly as defined in the ADR settings. Direct MXF video import from OP1a containers with support for AVC Intra and MPEG 2 formats brings Nuendo in line with contemporary editorial and broadcast pipelines, helping you collaborate smoothly with picture departments and delivery partners.

For sound designers, Nuendo 15 adds UltraShaper for combined transient shaping, limiting and EQ sculpting, plus a new Pitch Shifter with formant preservation, saturation modes and a wide ±24 semitone range.
