Soundcraft Signature Plus 16 Analogue Mixer (Includes Rack Kit)

The Soundcraft Signature Plus 16 is a next-generation analogue mixing console designed to bring professional workflows, versatile connectivity and premium Soundcraft sound to studios, live stages, podcasting setups and content creation environments. With 16 input channels, it combines an intuitive control surface with powerful processing and flexible routing for confident operation in demanding situations.

Soundcraft Ghost mic preamps provide smooth, detailed audio with impressive headroom, while Sapphyre EQ delivers musical tone shaping across the creative inputs. Built-in dbx one-knob compressors with harmonic enhancement make it easy to add controlled dynamics to vocals and instruments, while the integrated Lexicon hardware effects processor provides creative effects with convenient Store and Tap Tempo functions.

Beyond its analogue capabilities, Signature Plus 16 offers a 4x4 USB-C interface operating at up to 192kHz for straightforward recording and playback with computers and mobile devices. Four Aux sends, Mix to Auxes, Pro Listen bus and Talkback To routing provide extensive monitoring and communication options.

The clean layout, colour-coded controls, tactile squircle knobs and smooth faders make the console easy to navigate, even in low light. Rugged construction, included rack mount ears and a front panel QR code for support resources complete a professional mixing solution built for modern workflows.

Professional Analogue Sound:

The Signature Plus 16 combines several of Soundcraft's established audio technologies in a practical 16-input console. Soundcraft Ghost mic preamps provide clean, detailed gain with smooth overload behaviour, while Sapphyre EQ offers musical and precise tone shaping for creative control. Each mono input also features a dbx one knob compressor with harmonic enhancement, providing an accessible way to control dynamics while adding character to vocals and acoustic instruments. TRS insert points allow external processors to be integrated when more specialised processing is required. Extensive SSM, or Simple Success Metering, provides clear visual feedback across inputs and outputs, helping engineers monitor signal levels quickly and confidently throughout a performance or recording session.

Flexible Monitoring and Routing:

Signature Plus 16 provides a comprehensive output section designed to support demanding live, studio and content creation workflows. Four Aux sends offer flexible monitoring options, while Mix to Auxes makes it straightforward to create useful output mixes. The Pro Listen bus allows engineers to monitor channels without interrupting the main mix being heard by performers or an audience. Talkback To routing provides direct communication with selected outputs, making communication between engineers, performers and collaborators simple. Monitoring controls can be configured for headphone and control room outputs, including Mute, Dim and Mono Sum functions. Sources can also be selected from Auxes, Listen, Mix or direct USB returns, giving each listener greater control over their monitoring environment.

Modern Connectivity and Creative Control:

The Signature Plus 16 is designed to bridge traditional analogue mixing with modern digital workflows. Its 4x4 USB-C interface supports operation up to 192kHz, providing straightforward recording and playback with laptops and compatible mobile devices. USB inputs can be routed into channel strips or used to override the mix for applications such as break music and DJ sets. An integrated Lexicon hardware effects processor adds further creative flexibility, with Store and Tap Tempo functions making effects easier to manage during performance. The console's clean layout, colour-coded buttons, tactile squircle knobs and smooth faders encourage fast, precise operation. A front panel QR code provides quick access to training videos, manuals and support resources, while included rack mount ears make installation in suitable setups straightforward.
