Sonor Momentum 22" Acoustic Shell Pack in Satin Pure White

The Sonor Momentum Acoustic Shell Pack in Satin Pure White is a versatile 4-piece maple kit that delivers punchy, controlled tone with a refined, modern look. Centred around a focused 22 inch bass drum and matched maple toms, it is equally at home on smaller stages, in rehearsal rooms, or in the studio, offering warm attack, balanced projection and reliable tuning session after session. Please note: this is a shell pack only.

Drawing on Sonor’s long-standing reputation for meticulous craftsmanship, the Momentum series distils many of the brand’s flagship design ideas into a highly playable, gig-ready package. The 9-ply maple shells provide a classic, musical response with plenty of low-end weight, while the T.A.R. tom mounting and carefully engineered bearing edges help every drum sing with clarity and sustain.

With sizes chosen for maximum versatility, this configuration covers everything from tight, articulate grooves to big, open rock backbeats. The 22 x 17.25 inch bass drum stays punchy and defined without overwhelming the mix, while the 10 x 7.75 inch and 12 x 8.5 inch rack toms offer a smooth, melodic spread across the kit. A deep 16 inch floor tom anchors the low end with satisfying thump that still remains controlled and easy to tune.

Hardware details are equally considered. Sonor’s Total Acoustic Resonance (T.A.R.) mounting system keeps the rack toms free to resonate, improving sustain and projection, while triple-flanged power hoops and precise 45 degree bearing edges promote stable, responsive tuning. Combined with the elegant Satin Pure White finish, this Momentum shell pack offers a professional feel and sound that will inspire you to play more.

Maple Shells with Warm, Balanced Tone

The Momentum series uses carefully constructed maple shells to deliver a classic drum sound with warmth, clarity and punch. Maple offers a balanced frequency response that works across genres, giving you enough low-end body for rock and pop, with the articulation and definition needed for funk, fusion and more nuanced playing styles.

Versatile 22 Inch Configuration

The 22 inch bass drum and complementary tom sizes are chosen to cover a wide range of musical settings without compromise. The kick remains focused and controlled, ideal for smaller stages and tighter mixes, while the toms provide a musical, graduated spread that makes it easy to dial in everything from tight, tuned-up jazz-fusion sounds to deeper, more powerful rock tones.

Total Acoustic Resonance Tom Mounting

Sonor’s T.A.R. mounting system supports each rack tom without choking the shell, allowing the drum to vibrate more freely. This results in improved sustain, cleaner note definition and better projection, so your toms cut through the band mix while still sounding open and natural.

Precision Bearing Edges and Power Hoops

With 45 degree bearing edges and robust power hoops, the Momentum shell pack offers smooth, predictable tuning and a consistent feel under the sticks. The edges help the heads seat perfectly on the shells, enhancing sensitivity and attack, while the hoops keep everything stable, making it easier to maintain your preferred tuning over longer sessions.
