Sonor Momentum 18" Acoustic Shell Pack in Satin Pure White

The Sonor Momentum Acoustic Shell Pack in Satin Pure White is a compact 4 piece maple kit that delivers punchy, controlled tone in a sleek, modern finish. Centred around an 18 inch bass drum with focused low end and balanced maple warmth across the toms, it is perfectly suited to smaller stages, rehearsal rooms and studio work where clarity and control are essential. With advanced shell construction and hardware concepts drawn from Sonor’s flagship lines, this kit offers inspiring feel and sound for drummers of almost any style. Please note: this is a shell pack only.

Built from meticulously crafted maple shells, the Momentum series combines classic tonal warmth with articulate attack and impressive projection. The compact 18 inch bass drum keeps the low frequencies tight and musical, sitting neatly in the mix without overwhelming bandmates or microphones. Paired with responsive 10, 12 and 14 inch toms, the kit delivers a wide tuning range from tight and punchy to open and resonant, making it equally at home in jazz, pop, rock and beyond.

Sonor’s Total Acoustic Resonance (T.A.R.) mounting system allows the rack toms to sing freely, minimising hardware contact so the shells can resonate naturally. This is complemented by carefully cut 45 degree bearing edges and robust power hoops, which work together to provide stable, precise tuning and a consistent feel under the sticks. The result is a kit that is easy to dial in, holds its tuning well and responds musically to every dynamic level.

Finished in Satin Pure White, the Momentum shell pack offers a clean, understated aesthetic that looks sharp under stage lights and in the studio. Whether you are building a portable gigging rig, upgrading your rehearsal setup or looking for a compact recording kit that captures every nuance, this Sonor Momentum configuration delivers professional performance in a manageable footprint.

Compact, Focused 18 Inch Bass Drum

The 18 x 14.25 inch bass drum provides tight, controlled low end that is ideal for smaller venues and close-miked studio sessions. Its compact size keeps the sound punchy and defined, helping your kick sit clearly in the mix without overpowering the rest of the kit or the band.

Warm, Balanced Maple Shells

Crafted from maple, each shell offers a musical blend of warmth, attack and clarity across the frequency spectrum. This classic tonewood choice gives the kit a versatile voice that adapts easily to different genres, from subtle brush work to more aggressive backbeats.

T.A.R. Mounting System for Enhanced Resonance

Sonor’s Total Acoustic Resonance mounting system supports the rack toms without choking the shells, allowing them to resonate more freely. By isolating the drums from the hardware, you benefit from improved sustain, better projection and a more open, natural tone.

Precision Bearing Edges and Power Hoops

45 degree bearing edges and sturdy power hoops work together to deliver smooth, reliable tuning and a consistent playing response. The heads seat easily on the shells, making it quicker to find your preferred tuning and ensuring the kit stays stable throughout rehearsals and performances.
