Sonor Momentum 22" Acoustic Shell Pack in Red Pearl

The Sonor Momentum Acoustic Shell Pack in Red Pearl is a modern, gig-ready maple kit with a classic look and feel. Centred around a punchy 22 inch bass drum and versatile 10, 12 and 16 inch toms, it delivers focused attack, controlled sustain and a musical tone that works across styles, from rock and pop to worship and theatre pits.

Built in Germany using Sonor’s CLTF and OSM shell processes, the 9 ply, 6 mm maple shells tune easily and stay stable, even when you are moving between rehearsal rooms, studios and stages. The T.A.R. suspension system and 45 degree bearing edges keep the drums open and responsive, while the Red Pearl Delmar wrap and chrome hardware give the kit a timeless, stage ready presence.

Modern Maple Tone with Classic Feel

The Momentum series uses medium thickness maple shells to strike a balance between warmth, projection and control. You get a clear, articulate attack that cuts through a mix, backed up by a smooth, musical sustain that never becomes boomy or unfocused. Whether you are playing tight funk, big rock choruses or laid back singer songwriter sets, the kit responds naturally without needing heavy EQ or damping.

German Engineered Shells

Sonor’s CLTF (Cross Laminated Tension Free) and OSM (Optimum Shell Measurement) methods ensure each shell is round, stable and free from internal stress. That translates into drums that tune predictably and hold their pitch once dialled in. The 45 degree bearing edges help the heads seat evenly, making fine adjustments quick and straightforward, which is especially useful if you are sharing backline or changing tunings between songs or sets.

Resonant Toms with T.A.R. Mounting

The T.A.R. (Total Acoustic Resonance) mounting system minimises contact with the shell so the toms can vibrate freely. Combined with 2.3 mm power hoops, you get a controlled, musical ring with plenty of body and definition. The 10 and 12 inch rack toms speak quickly and clearly, while the 16 inch floor tom delivers a deep, rounded low end that still retains clarity in the mix.

Flexible, Gig Friendly Configuration

This 4 piece shell pack gives you a classic 22, 12, 16 foundation plus a 10 inch add on tom for extra melodic options. The bass drum comes without a mount, giving you the freedom to position your hardware exactly where you want it. Whether you prefer a compact, minimal setup or a more expansive layout with additional cymbals and accessories, the Momentum configuration adapts easily to your playing style.

Please note: Snare drum, hardware and cymbals are not included.
