Sonor Momentum 18" Acoustic Shell Pack in Red Pearl

The Sonor Momentum Acoustic Shell Pack in Red Pearl is a compact, gig-ready beech kit that delivers punchy, controlled tone without taking over the stage. Centred around an 18 inch bass drum with 10, 12 and 14 inch toms, it is ideal for smaller venues, rehearsal rooms and studio work where clarity, balance and easy transport really matter.

With medium-thickness beech shells, Sonor T.A.R. tom mounting and 2.3 mm power hoops, this kit is built to sound open and musical while staying rock solid in tuning. The Red Pearl Delmar wrap and chrome hardware give it a classic, hard-wearing look that fits just as comfortably in a jazz club as it does in a function band or studio live room.

Compact Sizes, Big Sound

The 18 x 14.25 inch bass drum keeps the low end tight and focused, so your sound sits in the mix without overwhelming it. Paired with 10, 12 and 14 inch toms, the kit offers a full spread of usable pitches in a footprint that is easy to position on cramped stages or in busy rehearsal spaces. It is a practical choice for drummers who need serious tone in a smaller format.

Beech Shells with Balanced Tone

Constructed from 9 ply, 6 mm beech, the shells provide a warm attack with a controlled sustain that works across genres. The 45 degree bearing edges help the heads seat cleanly for a crisp response and smooth tuning, while the medium shell thickness keeps the sound focused and articulate for both live and recording applications.

Resonant Mounting and Reliable Hardware

Sonor T.A.R. (Total Acoustic Resonance) tom mounts minimise direct shell contact so the toms can vibrate freely, improving sustain and clarity. Single lugs with the TuneSafe system support stable tuning over long sessions, and the 2.3 mm power hoops and included floor tom legs add durability without choking the drums.

Classic Red Pearl Finish

The Red Pearl Delmar wrap gives the kit a timeless, stage ready appearance while helping to protect the shells from everyday knocks and scuffs. Chrome hardware and matching wood bass drum hoops with wrap inlay complete a cohesive, professional look that will stand up to regular gigging.
