Product Description
The Sire Larry Carlton S7 New Gen Left Handed in Dark Forest takes the acclaimed S7 platform and gives southpaw players the same refined feel, tone and playability that right-handed players have been raving about. With a classic double cut silhouette, versatile SSS pickup configuration and a raft of modern upgrades, it is a serious all-rounder that can handle everything from glassy cleans to punchy overdrive with ease.
Built around a North American Alder body and a Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard, this S7 New Gen blends familiar S-style snap and balance with a slick, contemporary playing experience. A compound radius fingerboard, stainless steel frets, locking tuners and a modern two-post tremolo all work together to keep you comfortable and in tune, whether you are laying down chords, bending big notes or using the whammy bar for expressive vibrato.
The newly tuned Sire LC Super SSS pickup set delivers a wide palette of classic single-coil tones, from bright and percussive to warm and rounded, all easily accessed via the 5-way switch. Add in quality components like the Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and four-bolt steel neck joint, and you have a left-handed workhorse that feels solid, sounds inspiring and is ready for stage, studio or home practice.
Finished in a striking Dark Forest green with a tortoise pickguard and chrome hardware, the S7 New Gen Left Handed looks as good as it plays. It is an ideal choice for left-handed players who want a professional-feeling S-style guitar without the premium price tag.
Comfortable, Modern Playability
The Roasted Maple neck with a comfortable C-shape profile offers a familiar, easy-playing feel that suits a wide range of hand sizes and styles. The 9.5 inch to 14 inch compound radius fingerboard makes chords feel natural in the lower positions while gradually flattening out higher up for smoother bends and faster lead work. Combined with the 25.5 inch scale length, it delivers a responsive, articulate playing experience that feels effortless across the entire neck.
Durable Stainless Steel Frets
Fitted with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets, the S7 New Gen provides a slick, consistent feel under the fingers and excellent long-term durability. Stainless steel frets resist wear far better than traditional nickel, helping to maintain accurate intonation and a smooth playing surface over years of use. The slightly larger medium jumbo size also makes bending and vibrato feel more controlled and expressive.
Versatile Sire LC Super SSS Pickups
The Sire LC Super SSS pickup set has been newly tuned to capture the character of classic single-coil tones while offering modern versatility. From bright, chiming neck sounds to cutting bridge tones and all the in-between positions, the SSS configuration covers funk, blues, pop, rock and more. The simple Volume and Tone controls, paired with the 5-way lever switch, make it easy to dial in the right sound for any musical situation.
Stable, Expressive Tremolo System
The Sire Modern Tremolo Bridge with its two-post design delivers smooth, controllable pitch modulation for everything from subtle shimmers to more pronounced vibrato effects. Paired with the Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Sire Premium Locking Tuners, the tremolo system is designed to enhance tuning stability and make string changes quicker and easier, so you can focus on playing rather than constantly re-tuning.
