If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Model: 1988 Martin J-40M Custom Acoustic. Condition: This guitar is in very good condition, considering it is a 38 year old instrument. There are only a few scratches and some slightly deeper scratches on the top, back and sides, but nothing too major. There are some signs of natural lacquer checking on the righ hand side of the top. There are a couple of small dings on the back and sides and one more noticable scratch on the top, lower bout, but otherwise this guitar is in great shape for its age. The fres are low but still have life in them and there is some minor fret ware to the frets 1 through 6 and also on fret 12, mainly on the treble side. Body Shape: Jumbo / 0000-14 fret Top Material: Solid Sitka Spruce top with 8-ply top binding Back & Sides Material: Solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides with 4-ply binding Rosette: Multi-ring rosette Pickguard: Black pickguard Neck Material: Mahogany Neck Profile: Comfortable C-shape Fingerboard Material: Bound Ebony Inlays: Mother of Pearl Scale Length: 25.5 inches Nut Width: 1 11/16 inches (43mm) Frets: 14 clear of the body, 20 total Bridge: Ebony bridge with white/cream bridge pins and abalone dot inlays Tuners: Gold-plated 3-per-side enclosed Grover machine heads Headstock: Bound headstock with rosewood overlay and regular C.F.
