Product Description
The sE Electronics V8 MC2 GG is a premium dynamic wireless microphone capsule for compatible Sennheiser handheld transmitters, designed to deliver a polished, studio-like vocal sound on stage. Featuring sE’s newly developed DMCV8 capsule, it offers exceptional clarity, natural detail and a refined, balanced response, with clear highs, controlled mids and extended low end that already feels finished before you even touch the EQ.
With a highly focused supercardioid polar pattern, the V8 MC2 GG keeps your vocal front and centre, even on loud stages. Excellent off-axis rejection helps minimise bleed from drums, guitars and monitors while providing impressive gain-before-feedback. A rugged all-metal build, spring-steel grille and patented integrated shock mount complete a capsule that is purpose-built for demanding live performance, all wrapped up in a refined Graphite Grey finish that resists fingerprints and looks sharp under stage lights.
Premium DMCV8 Capsule
At the heart of the V8 MC2 GG is sE’s newly developed DMCV8 dynamic capsule, building on the success of the acclaimed V7. It is voiced to capture vocals with exceptional clarity and natural detail, delivering open, airy highs, controlled mids and a tight, extended low end. The result is a vocal sound that sits in the mix with minimal effort and often needs far less corrective EQ, helping you achieve a consistent, professional sound night after night.
Highly Focused Supercardioid Pattern
The supercardioid polar pattern is engineered for maximum focus on the performer, providing excellent off-axis rejection across the frequency spectrum. This helps isolate the voice from surrounding instruments and stage noise, giving you a clear, confident vocal presence and excellent gain-before-feedback, even in challenging monitoring situations or on loud, crowded stages.
Refined Graphite Grey Finish
The V8 MC2 GG features a modern Graphite Grey finish that gives your wireless system a distinctive, premium look. The refined surface treatment is designed to help resist fingerprints and maintain a clean appearance under stage lighting, making it ideal for touring artists, rental inventories and venues that demand both performance and presentation.
Road-Ready Construction and Integrated Shock Mount
A rugged all-metal housing and durable spring-steel mesh grille provide excellent resistance to dents and corrosion, ensuring the capsule can handle the rigours of regular live use. Inside, a newly patented integrated shock mount effectively reduces handling noise and unwanted vibrations, while helping to protect the capsule from mechanical impact. A gold-plated connector further ensures a reliable, corrosion-resistant connection for consistent signal integrity with compatible Sennheiser wireless systems.
