Reverend Matt West Wiz-1 Signature Electric Guitar in Midnight Black

The Reverend Matt West Wiz-1 Signature in Midnight Black is a stripped-back, stage-ready riff machine built for high-energy pop punk and straight-ahead rock. With its radical reverse body shape, single scorching bridge humbucker and no-nonsense single volume control, it is designed to take a beating night after night while delivering punchy, harmonically rich tones that cut through any mix.

Under the bold styling lies a seriously capable workhorse. A solid korina body and three-piece korina neck provide a lively, resonant platform with excellent balance and sustain, while the roasted maple fingerboard feels fast and smooth under the fingers. The exclusive Reverend HCL bridge pickup, loaded with a large ceramic magnet, dishes out stout distortion and articulate attack, perfect for chunky power chords, palm-muted riffs and searing leads.

If you want a guitar that gets out of your way and lets you focus on the performance, the Wiz-1 has you covered. The simplified control layout keeps everything intuitive, so you can concentrate on the song rather than your settings. From sweaty club shows to festival stages, this is a no-fuss, plug-in-and-play instrument that rewards an aggressive right hand and thrives on loud amps and big choruses.

Finished in sleek Midnight Black with Reverend’s signature hardware touches, the Matt West Wiz-1 is a purpose-built tool for players who live on stage and need a guitar that can keep up with their energy and attitude.

High-Output HCL Bridge Pickup

At the heart of the Wiz-1 is Reverend’s exclusive HCL bridge humbucker, left uncovered and powered by a large ceramic magnet. This pickup delivers tight low end, cutting mids and a crisp top that stays defined even under heavy distortion. It is voiced to excel at driving amps hard, giving you thick rhythm crunch and singing lead sustain without losing clarity or note separation.

Radical Reverse Body Design

The distinctive reverse body shape does more than just look cool. It offers excellent upper fret access and a comfortable playing position whether you are standing or sitting. The offset styling also helps the guitar sit perfectly against your body on stage, making long sets more comfortable while giving you a unique silhouette under the lights.

Korina Construction with Roasted Maple Fingerboard

A solid korina body paired with a three-piece korina neck gives the Wiz-1 a lively, responsive acoustic character with plenty of natural sustain. Korina is known for its balanced tone, combining warmth and punch in equal measure. The roasted maple fingerboard adds stability and a smooth, fast feel, with a 12 inch radius that is ideal for big bends, fast runs and clean chord work across the neck.

Stripped-Back, Stage-Ready Simplicity

With a single volume control and no extra switching, the Wiz-1 keeps things as direct as possible. This minimalist layout means less to think about mid-song and fewer parts to get in the way of your performance. Combined with a TOM bridge and stop tailpiece for rock-solid tuning stability and Reverend Pin-Lock tuners for quick string changes, it is built to handle the demands of regular gigging with ease.
