RCF ART 912-A Active Loudspeakers

The ART 912-A packs the full ART 9 specification into a compact 12" enclosure. A 2-channel Class-D amplifier rated at 2100W peak drives a 12" woofer and a 1" compression driver, covering 50 Hz to 20 kHz with 130 dB maximum SPL. The 1800 Hz crossover point is a notably low threshold for a 12" two-way speaker — it means the compression driver handles more of the vocal and upper-mid range, resulting in cleaner, more detailed reproduction in the frequencies your audience notices most.

Bass Motion Control manages the woofer at the low end, controlling excursion to prevent distortion and over-extension without restricting the speaker's output or natural character. FiRPHASE technology maintains near-zero degrees phase across the frequency range, delivering a coherent, time-aligned sound that holds together at any volume or distance. On-board DSP handles EQ, limiting, and preset management, with PowerCON TRUE1 mains connectivity for touring-grade reliability.

When you pair it with the ART 912-A, the ACE preset handles phase alignment and frequency handoff automatically, so the system behaves as a single, coherent unit rather than two separately set-up boxes.

The large 2.4-inch colour touch panel provides access to the full DSP suite: 8-band parametric EQ, up to 45 metres of delay, cardioid configuration mode, and eight recallable snapshots. The RCF LiveRemote app (iOS and Android) allows wireless control of up to eight AX devices simultaneously from a smartphone — a genuinely useful feature for events where the rack isn't within arm's reach.
