All the tonal characteristics of a vintage humbucker, but with the added clarity of a more modern, more evenly balanced pickup. Built around Alnico magnets, the 85/15 humbuckers are the perfect hybrid of old and new. Defined highs and lows unlock the full spectrum of sound for ultimate note clarity and definition.

The PRS S2 is crafted using the tried-and-tested tonewood combination of a Mahogany body and neck in combination with a dark Rosewood fingerboard, elegantly finished with a premium carved Poplar Burl top. Perfectly complemented by its effortless Pattern Thin neck, the S2 is a workhorse you won't want to be without.
