The Positive Grid Reactor 100 is a seriously clever 1x12” combo that takes amp modelling to the next level. Powered by Amp Intelligence, it doesn’t just emulate amplifiers — it builds tones the way you imagine them. Whether that’s from a quick description, a photo or even a recording, you can create full signal chains on the fly or dream up completely original amps that don’t exist anywhere else.

With selectable wattage onboard, you can dial in your perfect tone at bedroom volume or crank it up for rehearsals and gigs without losing that feel. Even better, the Reactor actually learns what you like over time, so it grows with you the more you use it!

Powered by intelligence

At the heart of the Reactor is its Amp Intelligence sound engine, which has analysed over 200 classic amp designs right down to the circuit level. We’re talking gain stages, transformers, bias points — the lot. Essentially, it’s captured the DNA of some of the most iconic amps ever made. And the result is tone that feels alive, dynamic and touch sensitive. Whatever sound you’re chasing, the Reactor can get you there in seconds.

Top panel: instant control

A simple control layout puts everything you need right at your fingertips:

• One knob lets you choose from six core amp categories.
• Gain, EQ and Master controls allow you to shape your tone right from the panel.
• You get six essential effects with dedicated buttons/controls for quick tweaks.

There are also a couple of unique tricks up its sleeve:

• Push/Smooth switch: Go from warm rhythm tones to cutting lead sounds without touching your gain control.
• Heat +/- switch: Fine-tune the feel and harmonic response without a big volume jump.

Creator Hub: your tone, your way

This is where things get really fun. Using Amp Intelligence, Creator Hub’s Tone Capture feature lets you build sounds in three different ways from the Reactor app:

• Audio to tone: Upload a track or sample, and the Positive Grid Reactor 100 amp will analyse it and recreate that guitar tone to match.
• Image to tone: Seen a cool amp or pedalboard online or at a gig? Snap a pic and let the Reactor turn it into a playable tone.
• Text to tone: Just describe what you want (an artist, an amp or even a vibe) and it’ll build a signal chain for you.

And it’s not just about copying. You can mix characteristics, tweak deeper parameters and create completely original amp voices using Tone Assistant to refine your sounds with natural, simple language. Then save ‘em, name ‘em and share your creations on ToneCloud. Plus, it remembers what you’ve done before — so every new tone starts a step closer to perfection.

The Reactor app: deeper control

• Amps: Start with 24 models and build as many as you like, with deep control over gain structure, EQ, bias and voicing.
• Effects: Run up to 8 simultaneous effects slots with full control (Gate, Comp, Drive, Mod, Delay, Reverb, Wah, EQ) and insert the FX loop anywhere in the chain.
• Presets: Save unlimited presets by song, session or genre in the app. Load and access 8 onboard preset slots for instant recall directly from the amp panel.
• ToneCloud: Browse and download tones and custom amps from other players, then share your own with the community.
• Signal path: Drag, drop and reorder effects however you like and add external pedals through the FX loop at any point.
