Product Description
The Pearl 13x3 Natural Maple Piccolo Snare Drum is a compact, high-impact effect snare that delivers a tight, meaty crack ideal for modern pocket playing. Built from 100 percent maple and finished in a stunning high gloss Natural lacquer, it adds a bright, articulate voice to your kit that cuts through the mix without ever sounding thin.
Designed as a more substantial take on the classic piccolo sound, the M1330 offers a super responsive pop that is perfect for accents, ghost notes and secondary snare duties. Precision-engineered hardware, smooth tuning action and resilient hoops mean you can dial in high-tension, ultra-snappy tones and rely on them night after night.
Whether you are locking down funk and R&B backbeats, layering hip hop style side snare textures or adding a crisp auxiliary voice to a rock setup, this piccolo snare gives you the speed, projection and control to shape your sound exactly how you want it.
Meaty Piccolo Voice for Pocket Players
The M1330 sits on the meatier side of the piccolo spectrum, giving you a punchy, full-bodied crack rather than a thin, brittle ping. This makes it ideal for pocket players who want a tight, controlled backbeat that still has weight and authority, helping your groove sit confidently in the mix.
100 Percent Maple Shell for Tight Pop
With a 6-ply, 7.5mm maple shell, this snare delivers the bright, focused attack and quick response that piccolo fans love, along with the warmth and musicality maple is known for. The result is a super tight pop that is perfect for accents and extra voice effects, adding definition and character to your grooves and fills.
High Gloss Natural Lacquer Finish
Finished in a high gloss Natural lacquer, the drum shows off the beauty of its maple shell while providing a sleek, professional look on stage or in the studio. The durable lacquer helps protect the wood and keeps the drum looking sharp, making it a stylish addition to any kit.
Precise, Reliable Tuning Hardware
CL-05 dual-ended lugs, solid brass receivers and T-055 tension rods work together to provide smooth, accurate tuning across the head. Combined with 1.6mm triple-flanged steel hoops, the M1330 comfortably handles high-tension setups and offers extended playing resilience, so your snare stays consistent and responsive throughout long sessions and gigs.
