Sitting somewhere between a mini modular rig and a performance-ready pedal, it combines a flexible oscillator, programmable note sequencer and deep control options in a compact Vintage Yellow box that drops straight onto your board or desktop.

At its heart, IOTA is an oscillator with variable waveform, a white noise generator and a powerful step sequencer that spans five octaves and up to sixty steps. Twelve illuminated buttons give you direct access to notes, scales and presets, while dedicated controls for glide, swing, envelope shape and skip patterns let you sculpt everything from tight, clocked sequences to woozy, shifting soundscapes. IOTA centres around a programmable note sequencer that covers five octaves and supports sequences from five up to sixty steps. The twelve-button note bank lets you pick a root note and scale intervals directly on the pedal, so you can build melodic patterns without diving into menus. Adjustable Rate, Direction and Range controls, plus seven tempo subdivisions, make it easy to lock into a groove, create evolving arpeggios or push into polyrhythmic territory.

Flexible Oscillator and Noise Engine

The sound engine combines a variable-waveform oscillator with a dedicated white noise generator that tracks each note in the sequence. You can move smoothly from pure sine waves to harmonically rich tones and gritty, bit-crushed textures, then blend in noise for percussive hits, lo-fi sweeps or atmospheric washes. This gives you everything from clean, glassy sequences to chiptune-style leads and dense, cinematic drones.

Deep Expressive Control

Glide and Bend controls introduce portamento and pitch modulation, while the envelope section offers Mix, Length and Shape parameters to define how each note starts and fades. Hold and Swing functions help you create sustained drones, stuttering repeats and syncopated rhythms. Sixteen skip patterns, random skip probability and the Scramble function keep sequences evolving, making IOTA ideal for generative textures and live improvisation.

Performance-ready Connectivity

With twelve onboard presets and access to up to 127 via MIDI, IOTA can store complete sound and sequence setups for instant recall. MIDI in and out on 3.5mm TRS handle clock, note and CC control, while the expression input allows multiple parameters to be controlled at once, per preset. An assignable auxiliary footswitch adds tap tempo, manual note triggering or preset switching, and soft-touch footswitches with latching or momentary modes make performance control smooth and quiet.
