Dual Analogue Filters for Deep Tone Shaping

At the heart of Float V2 are two independent 12dB per octave state-variable filters, each with its own cutoff, resonance, volume and modulation controls. You can run them as low pass, band pass or high pass, or combine modes for more intricate responses. The two-pole design keeps low end intact even as you increase resonance, avoiding harsh self-oscillation and keeping the pedal musical across guitars, basses, synths and beyond.

Rich Modulation with LFO and Envelope Control

Each filter can be animated by its own LFO and envelope follower, letting you blend classic auto-wah style responses with more experimental motion. Six LFO waveforms, from smooth sine and ramps to stepped and smooth random, give you everything from gentle pulses to glitchy, sample-and-hold textures. Independent Rate, Depth and Shape controls per filter make it easy to dial in subtle movement or extreme, choppy modulation that locks to your playing dynamics.

Sync, Routing and Stereo Creativity

Float V2 is built for complex, yet controllable, interaction between its two filters. The Sync function lets you link their behaviour, offset their phases or mirror their envelope responses, while Hard Sync can lock both cutoff frequencies together for unified sweeps. Routing options include parallel mono, series mono, mono-in to stereo-out and full stereo operation via TRS input and dual outputs, so you can place each filter in its own space or stack them for cascading filter effects.

Performance Control, Presets and MIDI

For live use, Float V2 offers three onboard presets plus up to 127 via MIDI, so your favourite patches are always ready. A soft-touch auxiliary footswitch can be assigned to tap tempo or preset switching, while the main switches support both latching and momentary operation. The expression input allows you to control multiple parameters per preset in real time, and MIDI over 3.5mm TRS Type A gives you access to clock sync, full parameter control and program changes. USB-C keeps the pedal future-ready with easy firmware updates.
