Product Description
The Meinl Stick & Brush Luke Holland Signature American Hickory Drumsticks are designed to feel like a natural extension of your hands, giving you the perfect blend of power, finesse and control. Sitting between a 5A and 5B in diameter, with a slightly extended length and short taper, they are built to handle fast, intricate playing as well as hard-hitting grooves, all while delivering clear, articulate tone from drums and cymbals.
Crafted from American hickory and carefully matched by weight and pitch, each pair offers a consistent, balanced feel from stick to stick. The round ball tip enhances definition and clarity, making ghost notes, accents and cymbal patterns speak with precision. Whether you are working on blistering gospel chops, tight studio work or explosive live performances, these sticks are made to keep up with Luke Holland's high-energy, highly musical approach to drumming.
Luke describes this model as the first time a drumstick has truly felt like an extension of his arm rather than just a tool. That sense of connection translates directly into your playing, letting you focus on expression instead of fighting your gear. If you need a stick that can move effortlessly between speed and power, subtlety and aggression, the SB600 Luke Holland Signature is a compelling choice.
Luke Holland Signature Design
Developed in close collaboration with Luke Holland, these sticks are tailored to the demands of modern, technical drumming. The diameter sits between a 5A and 5B, making them familiar in the hand yet slightly more substantial for added presence and control. This versatile sizing works across multiple genres, from pop and rock to metal and fusion.
Balanced Speed and Power
A length of 41.1 cm (16.2 inches) combined with a short taper gives the SB600 a responsive front end without feeling fragile. The extra reach helps with speed around the kit and comfortable rimshot positioning, while the short taper focuses the weight towards the tip for punchy backbeats and powerful accents when you dig in.
Articulate Round Tip
The round ball tip is designed for maximum clarity on both cymbals and drums. Ride patterns, hi-hat work and bell accents cut through with definition, while strokes on toms and snare remain focused and controlled. This makes the sticks ideal for intricate patterns where every note needs to be heard clearly.
Consistent, Matched Pairs
Each pair of SB600 sticks is weight matched and pitch matched, with model-based weight selection to ensure a consistent feel every time you pick up a new pair. That consistency helps your muscle memory, so your touch, dynamics and balance remain the same from rehearsal to stage and studio.
