Meinl Sonic Energy was established in the year 2014. Starting with the Planetary Tuned Gongs, which are handcrafted in Germany, the Meinl Sonic Energy team moved on to Energy Chimes, Tuning Forks, Singing Bowls, and a variety of other relaxing instruments.
Today Meinl Sonic Energy currently provides the widest range of sound therapy instruments in the world for therapists, percussionists, and anyone who wants to bring some new sounds into their lives.

G32-DC-B – 32” Don Conreaux Eight Corners of Heaven Mirror Gong
The Eight Corners of Heaven Mirror Gong was developed in collaboration with the Gong Master “Don Conreaux”. This handcrafted masterpiece uses exact fine tuning through hand-hammering and features the eight runic glyphs that represent the cycle of life. Hand-made in Germany this mirrored gong allows the player the see themselves, listeners or other gong players.
NEW – 20” to 32” Yin & Yang Wind Gongs
All Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gongs are traditionally handcrafted in China by using a special bronze alloy. The flat shape allows the gong’s voice to fully open with a wide tonal spectrum and a long sustain. Lower tones are more dominant when played softly, but with more powerful playing the gong opens up nicely and produces wave-like overtones.
The Yin & Yang design represent harmony and balance, they describe two opposites, which, however, do not fight, but complement each other.
