Product Description
The Meinl High Pitch Mountable Percussion Block in Black is a rugged, versatile block designed to cut through any mix with a clear, focused knock. Built from high density plastic and fitted with an adjustable multi-position mount, it is equally at home on a drum kit, percussion rig or marching setup, delivering a bright, articulate tone that speaks clearly indoors or out.
Whether you are adding Latin inspired patterns to a percussion ensemble, reinforcing backbeats on a kit, or driving a drumline with rock solid time, this block gives you a reliable, musical voice that will not choke or ring uncontrollably. Its compact size, strong projection and flexible mounting options make it an easy, no fuss upgrade to almost any setup.
Clear, Focused High Pitch
This model delivers a distinctly high pitched knock that cuts through bands, ensembles and stadium environments. The tone is clear and articulate without harsh overtones or unwanted ring, making it ideal for precise rhythmic patterns, timekeeping and accents that need to be heard from a distance.
Durable High Density Plastic Construction
Made from high density PE plastic, the block is built to withstand heavy playing with sticks, mallets or beaters. The robust shell shrugs off regular use in rehearsals, gigs and marching situations, giving you a dependable sound source you can rely on night after night, indoors or outside.
Adjustable Multi Position Mount
A clever mounting system allows the block to be positioned on one of three sides, and at an angle, so you can dial in the perfect playing position. This flexibility makes it easy to integrate into crowded drum racks, percussion stands or marching rigs, keeping the block comfortable to reach and consistent to play.
Standard 3/8" Mounting Size
The integrated 3/8" mount fits any standard percussion rod, so you can drop it straight onto common clamps, multi clamps or accessory arms without extra hardware. This universal fit keeps setup simple and lets you move the block between different rigs quickly when needed.
Features
- High Pitched, Cutting Tone - Designed with a bright, high register voice that projects clearly, this block is perfect for patterns and accents that must sit on top of the mix without sounding brittle or overbearing.
- High Density PE Plastic - The tough plastic body handles heavy stick work and regular transport, ensuring consistent sound and long term reliability for stage, studio and field use.
- Repositionable Mounting Bracket - Mount the block on one of three sides and adjust the angle to suit your playing style, making it easy to find a comfortable, ergonomic setup on any stand or rack.
- Standard 3/8" Rod Compatibility - Fits directly onto standard 3/8" percussion rods, allowing quick, tool free integration into drum kits, percussion stations and marching hardware.
