Martin 000-10E Shawn Mendes Electro Acoustic Guitar

Inspired by Shawn Mendes’ own vintage 1920s Martin, the 000-10E Shawn Mendes signature model blends classic small-bodied Martin character with modern playability, stage-ready electronics and a strong focus on sustainability. Built entirely from FSC certified tonewoods and loaded with Martin E1 electronics and a handy built-in tuner, it is a premium Road Series electro acoustic that delivers warm, balanced tone and an effortlessly comfortable feel for writing, recording and performing.

The solid FSC certified spruce top and solid FSC certified sapele back and sides give this 000-sized guitar a clear, articulate voice with a warm midrange and sweet top end, ideal for fingerstyle, strumming and everything in between. Scalloped X bracing helps the body resonate more freely, adding volume, sustain and dynamic response, while the antique toner top and faux tortoise pickguard nod to the look of Shawn’s cherished pre-war Martin. Whether you are playing at home, on stage or in the studio, it offers a refined, inspiring acoustic sound that sits beautifully in a mix.

Comfort is a key part of the design. The Performing Artist neck with High Performance Taper feels slim and fast without being insubstantial, making complex chords, fast runs and long sets easier on your hands. The shorter 24.9 inch scale length softens the string tension slightly, which can make bends, vibrato and extended playing sessions more relaxed, while the 1.75 inch nut width gives plenty of room for clean fretting and intricate chord voicings.

Artist-inspired details set this model apart visually. The FSC certified ebony fingerboard carries a custom Mendes Eagle inlay, echoing the motif from Shawn’s limited edition 000-28, while the straightline pyramid bridge is a first for the Road Series and adds a distinctive vintage flavour. Chrome enclosed gear tuners keep things stable and precise, and the satin finish across the body and neck feels smooth and organic, letting the guitar resonate naturally.

Plugged in, the Martin E1 electronics capture the guitar’s acoustic character with clarity and detail, making it easy to go from sofa to stage without changing instruments. The built-in tuner means you can quickly check your tuning without extra pedals or clip-ons, keeping your setup simple and focused on the music. Thoughtfully designed and sustainably built, the 000-10E Shawn Mendes is a versatile, artist-approved instrument that brings classic Martin heritage into a modern, eco-conscious package.

Sustainable FSC Certified Construction

The 000-10E Shawn Mendes is built entirely from FSC certified tonewoods, including the spruce top, sapele back and sides, select hardwood neck and ebony fingerboard and bridge. This ensures the wood is sourced responsibly, so you can enjoy a high quality, premium acoustic guitar while supporting more sustainable forestry practices.

Vintage Inspired 000 Body and Aesthetics

With its 000 14 fret body size, antique toner top and faux tortoise pickguard, this model channels the look and feel of Shawn’s 1920s Martin. The compact body is comfortable to hold and delivers a balanced, focused tone that works equally well for intimate fingerstyle playing, strummed accompaniment and recording.

Performing Artist Neck with High Performance Taper

The Performing Artist neck profile with High Performance Taper offers a modern, fast feel that suits a wide range of styles. Combined with the slightly shorter 24.9 inch scale and 1.75 inch nut width, it provides an easy playing experience that benefits both developing players and experienced performers who value comfort and precision.

Martin E1 electronics faithfully reproduce the guitar’s natural acoustic sound when plugged in, making it ideal for live performance and recording. The built-in tuner allows you to stay in tune at all times without additional gear, simplifying your setup and helping you focus on your performance.
