Mapex Mars Birch 8x7 Tom Pack Including TH800 Holder in Twilight Sparkle

The Mapex Mars Birch 8 Tom Pack in Twilight Sparkle is the perfect way to expand your Mars kit with a focused, punchy high tom and a rock-solid mounting solution. Featuring a 100 percent birch, 6-ply shell and the same SONIClear innovations found across the Mars range, this add-on tom delivers quick attack, clear projection and effortless tuning, whether you are playing live or in the studio.

Matched visually and sonically to existing Mars Birch shell packs, this 8 rack tom adds extra melodic range for fills and grooves while keeping your overall kit sound tight and controlled. The included TH800 tom holder makes it easy to integrate into your current setup, so you can spend less time wrestling with hardware and more time playing.

Focused 100 Percent Birch Shell

The Mars series uses 100 percent birch, 6-ply shells that are voiced for clarity and projection. On this compact 8 tom, that translates into a bright, articulate tone with plenty of cut, ideal for fast, intricate patterns and high-register accents that still sit clearly in the mix.

SONIClear Bearing Edge

The SONIClear bearing edge allows the head to sit flatter on the shell, improving contact and helping the drum speak more easily. You get a stronger, deeper fundamental note, quicker response at all dynamics and a wider, more forgiving tuning range, so dialling in your preferred pitch is fast and consistent.

SONIClear Suspension System

Borrowed from Mapex’s higher-end Saturn series, the SONIClear suspension system isolates the tom from its mounting hardware. By preserving vibration in the shell and heads rather than transferring it into the stand, the system enhances sustain, resonance and overall openness of tone.

Twilight Sparkle Finish

The Twilight Sparkle finish gives this tom a sleek, modern look that stands out under stage lights while matching Mars Birch Twilight Sparkle shell packs. It is an easy way to expand your kit without compromising on aesthetics or the cohesive, professional appearance of your setup.

• 100 Percent Birch, 6 Ply Shell - Delivers a focused, punchy voice with quick attack and clear projection, ideal for cutting through dense band mixes and adding definition to fast fills.
• SONIClear Bearing Edge - Ensures the head seats perfectly on the shell for a stronger fundamental note, easier tuning and a broader usable tuning range, helping you find your sound quickly and keep it stable.
• SONIClear Suspension System - Increases resonance and sustain by preventing energy loss into the hardware, giving the tom a more open, musical tone that blends naturally with the rest of your kit.
• Includes TH800 Tom Holder - Provides a sturdy, adjustable mounting solution so you can position the 8 tom exactly where you need it, integrating seamlessly with your existing Mars setup.
