Mapex Mars Birch 8x7 Tom Pack Including TH800 Holder in Blood Orange Sparkle

The Mapex Mars Birch 8 Tom Pack in Blood Orange Sparkle is the perfect way to expand your Mars kit with an extra voice that cuts, projects and tunes with ease. Featuring a 100 percent birch, 6 ply shell and supplied with the TH800 tom holder, this compact 8 rack tom adds punchy attack and bright definition to your fills without complicating your set up.

Built around Mapexs SONIClear design philosophy, this add on tom is incredibly quick to tune, with a wide usable range and a clear, focused fundamental note. Whether you are tightening it up for fast, articulate fusion patterns or tuning lower for fat, melodic fills, the shell and bearing edge work together to keep the sound open and musical.

The Blood Orange Sparkle finish ties in perfectly with existing Mars kits in the same wrap, giving you a factory matched look on stage and in the studio. With the included TH800 holder, integrating the tom into your current hardware layout is straightforward, so you can spend less time adjusting stands and more time playing.

For drummers who want more tonal options from their Mars set up without changing the feel or character of the kit, this 8 tom pack delivers a professional, modern sound in a compact, easy to manage package.

100 Percent Birch 6 Ply Shell

The Mars series uses 100 percent birch, 6 ply shells that are naturally focused and fast speaking. On an 8 tom this translates into a bright, punchy voice that cuts through the mix while still supporting the lower frequencies of the rest of your kit with a solid fundamental and plenty of body.

SONIClear Bearing Edge

The SONIClear bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flatter on the shell for improved contact. This gives you a stronger, deeper fundamental pitch, more consistent tuning across the head and a noticeably wider tuning range, so you can dial in your preferred sound quickly and reliably.

SONIClear Suspension System

Borrowed from the higher end Saturn series, the SONIClear suspension system isolates the rack tom from the mounting hardware. By preserving vibration in the shell and heads, it increases overall resonance and sustain, helping this compact tom sound bigger and more open.

Blood Orange Sparkle Finish

The Blood Orange Sparkle finish delivers a vibrant, modern look that stands out under stage lights. It is designed to match existing Mars kits in the same finish, giving your expanded set up a cohesive, professional appearance from every angle.

• 100 Percent Birch 6 Ply Shell - The focused, quick speaking nature of birch gives this 8 tom a bright, articulate attack with clear projection, ideal for cutting through dense band mixes and adding definition to fast fills.
• SONIClear Bearing Edge - By letting the head sit flatter on the shell, the SONIClear edge makes tuning easier and more predictable, with a stronger fundamental note and a broader range of usable pitches.
• SONIClear Suspension System - The isolated mounting system keeps shell vibration away from the hardware, enhancing resonance and sustain so the tom sounds open and musical even at lower volumes.
• Includes TH800 Tom Holder - Supplied with a TH800 tom holder, this pack is ready to integrate into your existing set up, allowing flexible positioning and secure mounting without additional purchases.
