Mapex Mars Birch 20" Fusion Acoustic Drum Kit in White Diamond Sparkle

The Mapex Mars Birch 20" Fusion kit in Diamond Sparkle is a punchy, portable shell pack that gives developing drummers a serious step up in sound and feel. With 100% birch shells, SONIClear bearing edges and a matching snare, it is designed to make tuning easier, playing more enjoyable and your grooves stand out on stage or in the studio.

This 5-piece Fusion configuration balances compact sizes with full, focused tone, making it ideal for players who need a kit that can cover rehearsals, gigs and recording sessions without taking up too much space. The Diamond Sparkle finish adds a bold visual statement, while the included double tom holder keeps your setup neat and stable.

At the heart of the Mars Birch series is a shell and hardware design that helps you get a great sound quickly, even if you are still learning how to tune. The birch construction delivers clear attack and controlled low end, while Mapexs SONIClear technology lets the heads sit flatter on the shell, improving resonance and making tuning more consistent across the kit.

Whether you are upgrading from your first kit or looking for a reliable, great-sounding workhorse, the Mars Birch 20" Fusion Diamond Sparkle shell pack offers a powerful combination of tone, practicality and stage-ready looks.

100% Birch 6-Ply Shells

The Mars series uses 100% birch 6-ply shells to deliver a focused, modern drum sound with strong attack and quick decay. Birch naturally emphasises the high and low frequencies, giving your grooves clarity in the mix while keeping the tone tight and controlled for live and studio use.

SONIClear Bearing Edge

Mapexs SONIClear bearing edge allows the drumhead to make better contact with the shell, helping the drums tune more easily and stay in tune longer. This design also enhances resonance and sustain, so you get a fuller, more musical tone without having to fight the kit to find the sweet spot.

SONIClear Suspension System

The SONIClear suspension system isolates the rack toms from the bass drum, allowing them to vibrate more freely. This improves sustain and projection while keeping the drums stable, so your toms sing clearly and consistently, even at lower volumes.

Diamond Sparkle Finish and Matching Snare

The Diamond Sparkle wrap gives the kit a striking, professional look under stage lights or in the studio. A matching 14x6.5 snare ties the whole setup together visually and sonically, providing a cohesive sound across the kit and a centrepiece that looks as good as it sounds.

• 100% Birch 6-Ply Shells - Birch shells provide a bright, punchy attack with tight low end, helping your playing cut through the mix while remaining controlled and easy to manage in smaller rooms.
• SONIClear Bearing Edge - The SONIClear edge makes tuning quicker and more predictable, ideal for drummers who want a great sound without spending ages adjusting heads before every rehearsal or gig.
• SONIClear Suspension System - By suspending the rack toms, this system improves resonance and sustain, giving you fuller, more open tom tones while keeping the drums securely in place.
• Compact 20" Fusion Configuration - The 20" bass drum and Fusion-sized toms offer a balance of portability and power, making this shell pack suitable for a wide range of styles and performance situations.
