Mapex Mars Birch 20" Fusion Acoustic Drum Kit in Blood Orange Sparkle

The Mapex Mars Birch 20 Fusion Blood Orange Sparkle shell pack is a powerful, gig ready kit designed for drummers who are ready to step up from their first set. With 100 percent birch shells, a compact 20 inch bass drum and a matching snare, it delivers punchy, modern tones in a portable configuration that works just as well in rehearsal rooms and studios as it does on stage.

Finished in eye catching Blood Orange Sparkle, this Mars kit looks every bit as bold as it sounds. The focused birch shells, SONIClear bearing edges and suspension system make tuning quick and painless, while the included double tom holder keeps your setup neat and stable. Whether you are refining your sound or taking on regular gigs, this is a serious upgrade that keeps things straightforward and reliable.

100 Percent Birch Shells

The Mars series uses 6 ply, 100 percent birch shells across the kit. Birch is known for its strong attack, boosted high end and tight low frequencies, giving your playing extra clarity and projection in a band mix. The result is a crisp, modern sound that flatters articulate playing and makes microphones and engineers very happy.

SONIClear Bearing Edge and Suspension

Mapexs SONIClear bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flatter on the shell, making tuning easier and more consistent across the kit. You can get musical, usable tones quickly, even with minimal tuning experience. The matching SONIClear suspension system helps the toms resonate more freely, so you get fuller sustain and a more open, lively tone without choking.

Portable Fusion Configuration

This 20 Fusion shell pack is built around a 20 x 16 bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8 rack toms, a 14 x 14 floor tom and a matching 14 x 6.5 snare. The slightly smaller bass drum keeps the footprint compact and easy to transport while still delivering plenty of low end punch. The tom sizes cover everything from tight, funky tuning to bigger rock sounds, making this a genuinely versatile setup for many styles.

Stage Ready Blood Orange Sparkle Finish

The Blood Orange Sparkle finish gives the kit a vibrant, professional look that stands out under lights and in photos. Combined with insulated bass drum claws and clean hardware lines, the kit feels cohesive and well put together, helping you look as confident as you sound every time you set up.
