Mapex Mars Birch 10x7 Tom Pack Including TH800 Holder in Diamond Sparkle

The Mapex Mars Birch 10 Tom Pack in Diamond Sparkle is the perfect way to expand your Mars kit with a bright, punchy rack tom and rock-solid TH800 tom holder. Built from 100 percent birch with Mapexs acclaimed SONIClear bearing edges and suspension system, this add-on tom delivers fast, focused attack, clear projection and effortless tuning, all wrapped up in a stunning Diamond Sparkle finish that looks incredible under stage lights.

Whether you are fleshing out a compact set-up or adding melodic options to a larger rig, this 10 tom drops straight into your existing Mars configuration and feels immediately familiar. The birch shell speaks quickly with a crisp top end, while the SONIClear design helps the drum sing freely at any tuning, from tight and articulate to warm and musical.

Included with the drum is a TH800 tom holder, so you can mount the tom securely and position it exactly where you need it. With pro-level features borrowed from Mapexs higher-end lines, this Mars Birch tom pack offers serious performance and reliability at a price that makes expanding your kit easy.

100 Percent Birch Shells

The Mars series uses 6-ply, 100 percent birch shells that are naturally focused and responsive. Birch emphasises attack and clarity, so this 10 tom cuts through the mix with a punchy brightness while still supporting the lower frequencies with a solid fundamental. The result is a drum that projects clearly on stage and in the studio, with minimal effort required from the player.

SONIClear Bearing Edge

Mapexs SONIClear bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flatter and make better contact with the shell. This improves the transfer of vibration, giving a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch and making the tom noticeably easier to tune. You get a wider, more usable tuning range and more consistent results, whether you prefer high, cutting tones or lower, fatter sounds.

SONIClear Suspension System

Borrowed from the acclaimed Saturn series, the SONIClear suspension system isolates the tom from the mounting hardware, preserving shell and head vibration. By preventing energy transfer into the stand, overall resonance is increased and the drum sustains more naturally. Your 10 tom sounds open and alive, with better tone at all dynamics.

TH800 Tom Holder Included

The included TH800 tom holder provides a stable, adjustable mounting solution for the 10 tom. It allows precise positioning so you can dial in the perfect playing angle and height, helping you build a comfortable, ergonomic set-up. The secure clamp and robust construction are designed to handle regular gigging and rehearsals with ease.

• 100 Percent Birch 6 Ply Shell - Delivers a focused, punchy sound with quick response and clear projection, ideal for modern rock, pop and worship settings where definition and attack are essential.
• SONIClear Bearing Edge - Lets the head seat perfectly on the shell for stronger fundamental tone, easier tuning and a broader tuning range, so you can quickly find the sweet spot for any musical situation.
• SONIClear Suspension System - Increases resonance by isolating the tom from the hardware, allowing the shell to vibrate freely and giving you a more open, musical sustain at all volumes.
• TH800 Tom Holder - A robust, adjustable holder that makes mounting and positioning the 10 tom simple and secure, helping you integrate this add-on seamlessly into your existing Mars kit.
