Product Description
The Ibanez SMMINI Super Metal Mini pedal delivers tight, aggressive high gain in a compact, pedalboard friendly enclosure. Made in Japan with true bypass switching, it serves up searing distortion tones while keeping your core sound intact when disengaged. If you want classic Super Metal style saturation without sacrificing space or reliability, this little blue box is built to do the job night after night.
Despite its tiny footprint, the SMMINI is all about big, focused distortion. It is designed to provide the kind of cutting, high gain sound that stays tight under fast riffing and palm muting, with enough saturation for modern metal and hard rock. Whether you are boosting an already driven amp or creating your main distortion sound from a clean platform, the Super Metal Mini gives you a powerful, aggressive voice in a simple format.
True bypass switching keeps your signal path clean when the pedal is off, preserving the feel and character of your guitar and amp. That makes the SMMINI an ideal choice if you run a larger board or use multiple gain stages, as it will not colour your tone when you do not need it. The robust Japanese construction further inspires confidence, offering a solid, road ready feel that belies its small size.
With its compact design and focused purpose, the Ibanez SMMINI is a great option for players who want serious distortion without cluttering their board. From tight rhythm work to saturated leads, it delivers the kind of high gain tones that cut through a mix while remaining controlled and articulate.
Compact High Gain Distortion
The SMMINI is built to provide tight, aggressive distortion in a streamlined format. Its voicing is tailored towards high gain styles, giving you the saturation and bite needed for heavy riffs and solos while maintaining clarity and definition.
Pedalboard Friendly Mini Enclosure
With its mini housing, the Super Metal Mini saves valuable pedalboard real estate. It is easy to slot into an existing setup, making it ideal for players who want to add a dedicated high gain option without reworking their entire layout.
True Bypass Signal Path
True bypass switching ensures that when the SMMINI is off, your signal passes through unaffected. This helps preserve your guitar's natural tone and dynamics, which is especially important if you run long cable lengths or multiple pedals in series.
Made in Japan Build Quality
Manufactured in Japan, the SMMINI benefits from precise construction and reliable components. This attention to detail gives the pedal a solid, dependable feel that is well suited to regular gigging and rehearsal use.
