Ibanez IV1RG Custom Shop Visions Electric Guitar

The Ibanez IV1RG is a limited edition Visions Series RG that blends boutique looks with full-bore performance. A stunning burl maple top in an Amber finish sits over a resonant black limba body, while a razor-thin Super Wizard neck and premium DiMarzio pickups deliver the speed, comfort and tonal range demanded by modern players. Finished off with Custom Shop style fretwork, Lo-Pro Edge tremolo and Gotoh hardware, this is a serious high-end RG built to inspire.

From fluid legato and sweep-picked runs to articulate rhythm work, the IV1RG is engineered to stay out of your way and let your playing shine. The ultra-fast neck profile, locking nut and low-profile tremolo give you rock-solid tuning and effortless control over vibrato and divebombs. At the same time, the versatile HSH DiMarzio set covers everything from glassy cleans to tight, saturated gain, making this guitar equally at home on stage, in the studio or in the practice room.

Visually, the IV1RG is every bit as impressive as it sounds. The figured burl maple top and natural Amber finish highlight the unique grain patterns of the wood, while the iconic Tree of Life inlay and matte gold hardware add a touch of luxury. This is a guitar that looks as premium as it feels, and will stand out in any collection.

Every detail has been carefully considered, from the 5 piece maple and purpleheart neck for strength and stability, to the Custom Shop fret edge treatment that gives a silky, rolled feel under your fingers. If you want a limited edition Ibanez that captures the spirit of the classic RG while pushing playability and aesthetics to the next level, the IV1RG is a compelling choice.

Super Wizard Neck

The legendary Super Wizard profile is one of the thinnest, fastest necks Ibanez make, and on the IV1RG it is crafted from a 5 piece maple and purpleheart construction for strength and stability. The result is a neck that feels incredibly slim and smooth, perfect for fast alternate picking, wide stretches and advanced techniques, while still remaining rigid and reliable under stage and studio conditions.

Premium Tonewoods and Visions Aesthetics

A burl maple top in an Amber finish is paired with a black limba body to create a visually striking and tonally rich instrument. Black limba offers a lively, resonant character, while the figured burl maple top adds snap and clarity. Combined with the ornate Tree of Life fingerboard inlay and matte gold hardware, the IV1RG delivers a distinctive high-end look that matches its performance.

DiMarzio HSH Pickup Configuration

The DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck, True Velvet single coil in the middle and The Tone Zone in the bridge give the IV1RG a hugely versatile tonal palette. From warm, singing neck leads and sparkling in-between tones to powerful, punchy bridge sounds, this HSH layout covers a wide range of genres and gain levels, making it easy to dial in the right sound for any musical situation.

Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo and Gotoh Hardware

The Lo-Pro Edge tremolo provides smooth, precise pitch control with a low profile that stays comfortable under your picking hand. Paired with a locking nut and Gotoh hardware, including strap lock pins, the system is designed to keep tuning stable even under aggressive whammy bar use, so you can focus on your performance with confidence.

• Super Wizard 5 Piece Neck - The ultra-slim Super Wizard neck made from 5 piece maple and purpleheart offers exceptional speed and stability, ideal for technical playing styles and extended sessions without fatigue.
• DiMarzio HSH Pickup Set - Featuring an Air Norton humbucker in the neck, True Velvet single coil in the middle and The Tone Zone humbucker in the bridge, the IV1RG delivers everything from articulate cleans to high-gain punch, giving you a flexible tool for multiple genres.
• Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo with Locking Nut - The Lo-Pro Edge bridge and locking nut combination allows expressive vibrato and divebombs while helping to maintain tuning stability, all with a low profile that feels unobtrusive under your picking hand.
• Premium Construction and Aesthetics - A burl maple top over a black limba body, Tree of Life inlay, matte gold hardware and Custom Shop fret edge treatment combine to create a guitar that feels luxurious to play and looks stunning on stage.
