Product Description
If you're after a great little travel guitar with an open pore finish this is a great piece you'll love playing. Built from solid Ovangkol with a Mahogany neck this has a bright tone with a good mid and low punch to it.
This guitar is really good value and looks a lot more high end than the price tag would suggest. The open pore finish lets all the quality of the wood grain show through.
Here's what Ibanez have to say about this Piccalo Guitar
Ibanez is proud to introduce the new Ibanez mini-guitar with Ovangkol top, back and sides. The EWP14WB-OPN features an Ibanez original compact Florentine cut-away as well as a tenor ukulele body and scale length. The higher tuning helps the tension of the strings feel proper, like a normal-sized guitar, and the small body allows for the higher notes to ring out strongly. The combination of these unique features allows the player to explore new and undiscovered sounds. Take this highly portable guitar with you anywhere, from hanging out on the couch at home to jamming in the park with friends and everywhere in between!
