Product Description
The HeadRush FRFR-8 CAB is a compact, full-range, flat-response powered cabinet designed to let your amp and effects modeller sound exactly as intended. With up to 480 watts of peak power, a custom 8 inch woofer and a 1 inch compression driver, it delivers clear, consistent tone in a portable format that is ideal for practice, recording, rehearsals and live gigs.
Unlike traditional guitar or bass amps that colour your sound, the FRFR-8 CAB reproduces the full frequency range of your modeller with impressive headroom and detail. A built-in 3 band Baxandall EQ and variable high cut filter make it quick and easy to adapt your sound to any room, while Bluetooth audio and a handy tilt-back kickstand turn it into a flexible all round monitor for home and stage use.
Compact FRFR Powerhouse
The FRFR-8 CAB packs serious performance into a small footprint, delivering up to 480 watts of peak power and a maximum output of 125 dB SPL. This gives you enough volume and headroom to keep up with a full band, while remaining easy to carry and position in tight spaces. It is an ideal choice if you want the benefits of a full-range, flat-response rig without committing to a bulky 12 inch cabinet.
Accurate Tone for Modellers
A custom designed 8 inch low-frequency woofer is paired with a 1 inch high-frequency compression driver and a wide 90 degree conical horn. Together, they provide clear, balanced sound from 60 Hz to 20 kHz, so the character of your amp and cab models comes through exactly as you dialled it in. Whether you play guitar or bass, this accurate response helps your presets translate reliably between home, studio and stage.
Dialled In for Any Room
The onboard 3 band Baxandall EQ and variable high cut filter give you powerful yet intuitive control over your sound. You can quickly tame harshness, add low end weight or smooth the top to sit better in a mix, without having to edit your modeller presets. This makes it easy to adapt to different venues, monitoring positions and playing situations while keeping your core tones intact.
Flexible Connectivity and Monitoring
A combo XLR/TRS line level input makes it simple to connect any modeller, multi effects unit or preamp. The XLR line output lets you send your signal straight to a PA or daisy chain another FRFR-8 CAB for stereo rigs. Built in Bluetooth 5.3 audio support is ideal for playing along with backing tracks or reference mixes, and the integrated tilt-back kickstand provides a practical monitoring angle when used on the floor.
Features
