Product Description
The Gretsch Streamliner CVT in Olive Drab is a stripped-back rock machine built to deliver punchy tones, slick playability and dependable tuning stability at a price that makes it easy to get inspired. With its compact solid mahogany body, high-output HotWire humbuckers and fast-playing neck, it is ready for everything from chunky rhythm work to blazing leads.
Designed as a no-nonsense performance tool, the Streamliner CVT focuses on what matters most: feel, sound and reliability. The bevelled contours and rounded neck heel keep you comfortable through long sessions, while the compensated wraparound bridge and Pitch-Perfect head angle help your tuning stay locked in, even when you dig in hard.
Whether you are stepping up from your first guitar or adding a lean, mean workhorse to your collection, the Streamliner CVT offers impressive build quality and modern features wrapped in classic Gretsch attitude. Plug it in, turn it up and it will happily handle everything from garage rock and punk to crunchy classic rock and beyond.
HotWire High Output Humbuckers
The HotWire high output ceramic humbuckers are voiced for power, clarity and cut, giving you tight lows, aggressive mids and crisp highs that stay articulate under gain. From thick, saturated rhythm tones to searing lead lines, these pickups provide the punch and presence you need to stand out in a mix.
Fast C Neck with Rounded Heel
A mahogany neck with a Fast C profile and a rounded heel makes the Streamliner CVT feel instantly familiar and easy to play. The slim, comfortable carve encourages quick position shifts and fluid lead work, while the rounded heel gives you smoother access to the upper frets for solos and high-register riffs.
Comfortable Mahogany Body
The solid mahogany body features bevelled contours that sit naturally against your body, reducing fatigue whether you are standing on stage or practising at home. Mahogany also provides a warm, full-bodied tonal foundation that complements the punchy character of the HotWire humbuckers.
Pitch-Perfect Head Angle and Wraparound Bridge
The Pitch-Perfect head angle is designed to keep consistent string tension across the nut, working together with the Graph Tech NuBone nut and compensated wraparound bridge for solid tuning stability and reliable intonation. It is a simple, robust setup that lets you focus on playing rather than constant adjustments.
Features
- HotWire High Output Ceramic Humbuckers - A pair of HotWire humbuckers delivers powerful, modern tones with plenty of bite and definition. They stay tight under high gain and retain clarity when you roll back the volume, making them versatile for both rhythm and lead work.
- Fast C Mahogany Neck - The Fast C neck profile offers a slim, comfortable feel that suits a wide range of playing styles. Combined with the smooth gloss finish and medium jumbo frets, it makes fast runs, bends and chord changes feel effortless.
- Mahogany Body with Bevelled Contours - The solid mahogany body provides a rich, resonant core tone, while the bevelled edges and rounded heel improve ergonomics. This combination keeps the guitar feeling light and comfortable during long rehearsals and gigs.
- Compensated Wraparound Bridge - The compensated wraparound bridge offers a stable, straightforward solution for intonation and sustain. With fewer moving parts and solid contact with the body, it helps your notes ring out clearly and keeps your setup simple and reliable.
