Product Description
The Gretsch Streamliner CVT in Jet Black is a stripped-back, no-nonsense rock machine that delivers huge tones, slick playability and rock-solid tuning stability at a price that is seriously easy on the wallet. With its powerful HotWire humbuckers, fast-playing neck and ultra-stable compensated wraparound bridge, this solid mahogany workhorse is built to handle everything from chunky rhythm parts to blazing leads without getting in your way.
Designed for players who want classic Gretsch style with a modern, aggressive edge, the Streamliner CVT combines a sleek, contoured body with a comfortable Fast C neck profile and a bound Indian laurel fingerboard. Plug it in and the high output ceramic humbuckers serve up tight lows, cutting mids and crisp highs that sit perfectly in a band mix, whether you are playing indie, punk, hard rock or anything in between.
The Pitch-Perfect head angle and quality hardware keep the tuning stable and the feel consistent, even when you are digging in hard. Medium jumbo frets and a 12 inch radius make bends feel effortless and chords ring cleanly across the neck, so you can focus on your playing rather than fighting the guitar.
Finished in a stealthy Jet Black with classic Gretsch appointments, the Streamliner CVT looks every bit as bold as it sounds, making it an ideal choice for players looking for a reliable, great-sounding solid body that will hold its own on stage, in the studio or at rehearsal.
HotWire High Output Humbuckers
The Streamliner CVT is loaded with HotWire high output ceramic humbuckers that deliver punchy, modern tones with plenty of bite. They stay tight under high gain, making them perfect for heavy riffs and saturated lead sounds, while still cleaning up nicely when you roll back the volume.
Fast C Mahogany Neck
A Fast C mahogany neck offers a slim, comfortable profile that feels great for both rhythm and lead playing. Combined with the smooth gloss finish and 12 inch radius fingerboard, it encourages quick position shifts and fluid bends, ideal for players who like to move around the neck.
Mahogany Body with Bevelled Contours
The solid mahogany body provides a warm, full-bodied tonal foundation with excellent sustain, while the bevelled contours and rounded heel enhance playing comfort. Whether you are standing for long sets or reaching up to the highest frets, the body shape helps the guitar sit naturally against you.
Compensated Wraparound Bridge
A compensated wraparound bridge keeps things simple while providing reliable intonation and strong tuning stability. The direct string-to-body contact enhances resonance and sustain, giving your notes extra punch and clarity without the need for complex hardware.
