Product Description
The Gretsch Limited Edition G6134T-58 Penguin in Light Blue Pearl is a luxurious twist on one of Gretsch’s most coveted designs. With its chambered mahogany body, arched maple top and shimmering pearlescent finish, this rare bird delivers classic FilterTron chime and punch with effortless playability and unmistakable stage presence.
TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity FilterTron pickups capture the authentic late 50s Gretsch voice with stunning clarity, from glassy cleans and articulate rhythm work to snarling rockabilly bite. Paired with a smooth-playing mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and a Bigsby string-thru vibrato, the G6134T-58 Penguin is built to inspire players who want vintage class, modern reliability and a guitar that truly stands out.
Limited Edition Light Blue Pearl Finish
The first thing that hits you is the rare Light Blue Pearl finish, wrapped around the Penguin’s elegant single cutaway silhouette. Under stage lights it shimmers and shifts, giving the guitar a glamorous, almost jewellery-like quality that is pure Gretsch. As a limited edition model, it is a perfect choice for players and collectors who want something genuinely special that will turn heads every time it leaves the case.
Chambered Mahogany Body with Arched Maple Top
A chambered mahogany body with an arched maple top gives the G6134T-58 its signature blend of warmth, resonance and snap. The chambering keeps the weight comfortable while adding an airy, open quality to the tone, ideal for long gigs and expressive playing. The maple top tightens the low end and adds definition to chords and single notes, so you can sit perfectly in the mix whether you are playing clean, driven or drenched in ambience.
TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity FilterTron Pickups
Loaded with TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity FilterTron pickups, this Penguin delivers the classic Gretsch sound with exceptional detail. Expect tight, piano-like lows, chiming highs and a focused midrange that cuts without ever becoming harsh. From vintage rock and roll and country twang to indie, jazz and modern rock, these pickups stay articulate under gain and respond beautifully to your picking dynamics and volume control.
Bigsby String-Thru Vibrato and Premium Hardware
The Bigsby B3GP string-thru vibrato tailpiece offers smooth, expressive pitch modulation with improved sustain and easier string changes. Paired with a Space Control bridge on a pinned ebony base and Grover Imperial tuners, the hardware is designed for rock-solid tuning stability and precise intonation. Chrome appointments complete the upscale aesthetic, matching the guitar’s refined looks with equally refined performance.
