Classic Gretsch Energy Series Sound

The Energy Series is built to capture the essence of the Gretsch sound in a straightforward, player-friendly package. The 7-ply poplar shells provide a balanced, punchy voice with a warm low end and smooth mids, ideal for modern music styles. Combined with the 30° bearing edges, the drums speak quickly and tune easily, giving you a responsive kit that feels alive under the sticks.

Versatile Six-Piece Configuration

With a 22" kick drum, three rack toms, two floor toms and a 14" snare, this shell pack covers a huge range of musical situations. The 8", 10" and 12" toms are perfect for melodic fills and articulate patterns, while the 14" and 16" floor toms deliver deep, satisfying low-end thump. This layout lets you explore more creative setups and voicings, from compact stage rigs to expansive studio configurations.

Durable Black Sparkle Wrap and Chrome Hardware

The Black Sparkle wrap finish gives the kit a bold, timeless look that stands out under lights and in photos. It is paired with chrome-plated shell hardware that not only complements the finish but is built for everyday use. The wrap and hardware combination is designed to handle regular transport and set-up while keeping the kit looking sharp and professional.

Stable Hoops and Modern Tom Mounting

1.6 mm steel hoops provide consistent tuning stability and a controlled, focused sound on each drum. The inclusion of the Catalina GTS tom mount on the 2023 model gives you a modern, reliable way to position your rack toms exactly where you want them. This system helps the toms resonate freely while keeping your setup comfortable and repeatable from gig to gig.
