Gibson Pickup Elev8 Plus Pickups - Treble Double Black Nickel Cover 4-Conductor Potted 15k Alnico 8

The Gibson Pickup Elev8 Plus Treble humbucker is a high-output bridge pickup designed for modern players who want crushing gain, tight low-end response, and razor-sharp clarity. Featuring a powerful Alnico 8 magnet, custom-gauge coils, and 4-conductor wiring, it delivers aggressive, focused tones that stay articulate no matter how hard you push your amp.

Perfectly voiced as an overwound bridge partner for the standard Elev8 neck pickup, the Elev8 Plus offers commanding presence, fast attack, and a controlled bass response that excels with high-gain rigs, extended tunings, and dense mixes. With wax potting for stability and a sleek nickel cover over double black bobbins, it is built to perform night after night.

Modern High-Gain Performance

The Elev8 Plus is engineered for players who live in the world of saturated amps, tight overdrive, and precision riffing. With an average DC resistance of 15k, it delivers serious output and punch while retaining the note separation and dynamic control you need for complex chords, fast alternate picking, and articulate lead lines.

Alnico 8 Power and Authority

For the first time in Gibson pickup history, the Elev8 series harnesses Alnico 8 magnets. This powerful magnet type provides exceptional output and a commanding midrange presence, giving every riff and solo extra weight and impact. You get the feel of a modern high-output pickup without losing the musicality and character associated with classic Gibson tones.

Tight, Focused Low-End

The combination of Alnico 8 magnets and custom-gauge wire delivers a firm, controlled low-end that is ideal for high-gain and modern styles. Palm-muted chugs stay tight, drop tunings remain defined, and your sound cuts through the mix without turning muddy, even with lots of distortion and layered guitars.

Versatile 4-Conductor Wiring

With 4-conductor wiring, the Elev8 Plus is ready for coil-splitting and advanced switching options. This opens up a wider tonal palette, allowing you to move from thick, saturated humbucking tones to brighter, more cutting voices at the flick of a switch, expanding what your guitar can do in both studio and live settings.

• High-Output Bridge Voicing - With an average DC resistance of 15k, the Elev8 Plus delivers powerful, aggressive tones that excel with high-gain amps and pedals, giving you the headroom and intensity needed for modern rock and metal.
• Alnico 8 Magnet - The use of an Alnico 8 magnet provides exceptional punch, output, and responsiveness, adding authority to your sound while maintaining the clarity and musicality associated with Gibson pickups.
• Tight Low-End Response - Custom-gauge coils and the Alnico 8 magnet work together to keep the bass frequencies tight and controlled, ideal for drop tunings, fast palm-muted riffs, and complex rhythm work in high-gain environments.
• 4-Conductor, Wax-Potted Construction - 4-conductor wiring enables coil-splitting and advanced wiring schemes, while wax potting helps reduce unwanted feedback and microphonics, ensuring stable performance at any volume.
