Gibson Pickup ELEV8 Plus Pickup - Treble Double Black 4-Conductor Potted 15k Alnico 8

The Gibson ELEV8 Plus Treble Pickup is a high output modern humbucker built for players who want serious power at the bridge without losing clarity or control. With a hot 15k overwound design, Alnico 8 magnet and four conductor wiring, it delivers tight, percussive lows, cutting mids and clear highs that stay articulate even under extreme gain.

Voiced as the most powerful member of the ELEV8 family, the ELEV8 Plus is ideal for aggressive rhythm work, drop tunings and saturated lead tones where definition really matters. Its wax potted, double black construction keeps things stable and noise free on stage and in the studio, while the multi conductor wiring opens the door to coil split and advanced switching options in a modern, flexible setup.

High Output, Modern Voice

The ELEV8 Plus is designed around a powerful overwound coil configuration with an average DC resistance of 15k, giving you a commanding bridge tone with plenty of push into your amp or pedals. This extra output helps riffs hit harder and leads sing with ease, while still retaining the articulation and note separation you need for complex parts.

Alnico 8 Punch and Presence

At the heart of the pickup is an Alnico 8 magnet that delivers a bold, assertive character. Compared to more traditional magnet types, Alnico 8 provides a tighter low end, strong upper midrange and focused attack, making it a great choice for modern rock and metal styles where you want riffs to stay tight and leads to cut through a dense mix.

Tight Lows and Clear High Gain Definition

The voicing of the ELEV8 Plus keeps the bass response tight and controlled, so palm mutes and drop tuned parts stay precise rather than flabby. Even with heavily saturated high gain sounds, chords remain intelligible and single note lines retain clarity, helping you maintain definition in fast, technical or layered arrangements.

Four Conductor Flexibility

With four conductor wiring, the ELEV8 Plus is ready for coil splitting and more advanced switching schemes alongside its full humbucking mode. This gives you the flexibility to add extra tonal options to your guitar, from brighter single coil style sounds to series or parallel combinations, expanding your palette beyond a conventional fixed humbucker setup.

• High Output 15k Winding - The overwound 15k design delivers powerful output that drives amps and pedals harder, giving you saturated sustain and aggressive attack while still preserving enough clarity for complex chords and fast runs.
• Alnico 8 Magnet - An Alnico 8 magnet provides tight lows, strong mids and crisp highs, offering a modern, punchy response that suits heavy riffing, down tuned guitars and cutting lead tones.
• Four Conductor Wiring - Multi conductor wiring supports coil splits and advanced switching options, allowing you to unlock extra tones from a single pickup and tailor your guitar to different styles and set lists.
• Wax Potted Double Black Construction - Wax potting helps control microphonic feedback at high volumes, while the uncovered double black bobbins give a classic, understated look that suits a wide range of guitar styles.
