Product Description
The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker 7-String Pickup Set in Black Nickel brings cutting-edge, multi-voice versatility to your extended-range guitar. With three distinct, selectable voices on tap, you can move effortlessly from brutal, high-output aggression to pristine single-coil clarity, all while enjoying an ultra-quiet, consistent signal that holds up under any amount of gain.
Designed specifically for modern players who demand maximum flexibility from a single instrument, this Fluence Modern set gives you access to a full palette of tones without swapping guitars or compromising on noise. Whether you are chugging low-tuned riffs, playing fluid leads or switching to glassy cleans mid-song, these active humbuckers deliver powerful, articulate sound across all seven strings.
Three Voices, One Pickup Set
Each Fluence Modern Alnico humbucker offers three carefully voiced sounds that you can access via push-pull controls or switches. Voice 1 delivers a muscular, modern active tone with tight lows and enhanced articulation, perfect for high-gain rhythm and lead work. Voice 2 provides a crisp, clean humbucker sound that stays full and musical without becoming thin or brittle. Voice 3 unlocks an ideal single-coil style tone, with glassy top end and clarity that is perfect for chords, arpeggios and ambient textures.
Multi-Voice Power for 7-String Players
Fluence Multi-Voice technology lets you fully exploit the extended range of your 7-string. From growling low-end riffing to singing upper-register leads, the pickups stay balanced and defined across the entire fretboard. You can run matching Alnico pickups in both positions, or pair an Alnico neck with a Fluence Modern Ceramic bridge pickup (available separately) for even more tonal combinations, giving you a studio-worthy range of sounds from a single guitar.
Noise-Free Performance at Any Volume
Traditional wire-wound pickups can suffer from hum, buzz and tonal inconsistencies, especially with long cable runs and high-gain rigs. Fluence Modern pickups use active electronics to deliver a clear, dynamic signal with practically no noise, even when you are pushing your amp hard. The result is a tight, focused tone that cuts through the mix without unwanted interference, ideal for modern metal, prog and technical playing styles.
Simple Drop-In Installation
This set is designed to drop into most guitars equipped with standard humbuckers, making it a straightforward upgrade for your 7-string. The package includes the pickups, wiring and push-pull 25k potentiometers that are optimised for active circuitry. With everything you need in the box, you can quickly unlock the full potential of your instrument and start exploring the three powerful voices of Fluence Modern.
