Perhaps the Fender that should have been? The Masterbuilt Kyle McMillin Offset Stratocaster fuses Fender's most popular design with what is often described as their coolest.

Beautifully presented in a Closet Classic Pearl White, this offset Strat oozes vibe with its unique Strat body shape and Jazzmaster-style neck. Its trio of tilted Josefina hand-wound '60s Strat pickups provide the perfect pre-CBS bell-like chime, and thanks to its ½ blender circuit, the neck pickup can be blended into positions 1 & 2 for even more tonal versatility. And thanks to its quartersawn Maple neck with modern neck profile, 9.5” radius and narrow tall frets feels effortless and fast up and down the fingerboard.

Kyle McMillin

Before joining the Custom Shop. Kyle worked for Fender as part of the standard American production team for over 15 years. Building electric guitars is his passion and is something he's dreamed of doing since he was a teenager, simply from experimenting with some wood and a router in his own quest for a unique electric guitar. Before being promoted to Masterbuilder, Kyle spent 5 years training under Principal Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov as part of a 5-year apprenticeship. Now at Masterbuilder status, Kyle looks forward to bringing his creativity to the team, blending vintage and modern as well as tweaking classic designs into something completely new.

Josefina

With a direct link right back to Leo Fender and the original production of Fender’s instruments in the 50s, Josefina Campos is keeping Fender's pickup-making torch burning brightly! Selected by the ‘Queen of Tone’ Abigale Yabarra (Fender’s original pickup winder from the early 50s) to be her apprentice before she retired, Josefina’s hand-wound pickups are the sum of all Abigale’s and Leo’s knowledge. These hand-wound '60s Strat pickups gives you everything you want in a vintage pre-CBS Strat - Sparkling highs, a bell-like chime as well as a tight musical bass.

Modern C Shape Neck

Fender's comfortable modern C shape neck profile is renowned for being Fender's one-size-fits-all neck profile. With enough wood to make even the most die-hard lovers of a chunky neck feel at home, the Fender C remains ergonomic and fast-feeling up and down the fingerboard.

• Quartersawn Maple - Straight-grained and around 50% more stable than a traditional plain-sawn neck.
• 1/2 Blender - The 1/2 Strat Blender allows even more tonal capabilities, allowing you to blend the neck pickup into positions 1 or 2.
