Featuring a versatile HSS pickup configuration, this Fender can do it all. Its Wide Range Humbucker in the bridge position offers powerful humbucking tones with added top end and sparkle, which perfectly work with its duo of hand-wound ’69 Strat pickups in the neck and middle. Its oval ’66 C-shaped neck feels comfortable up and down the fingerboard, and thanks to its 12” fingerboard radius, fast runs and big bends feel effortless.

‘69 Pickups with Wide Range Bridge

Arguably the most iconic sound in Strat history. The Custom Shop ‘69 pickups feature all the authentic ingredients to recreate the historic Woodstock Stratocaster tones - Alnico 5 magnets, Grey Fibre Bobbins, Enamel-Coated Magnet Wire and of course, period-correct pull-back Cloth Wire. Their thumping low-end, sparkling bell-like highs and strong dynamics produce a clear and powerful tone. Partnered with a Seth Lover designed CuNiFe Wide Range Humbucker in the bridge, this Strat can do it all from fat humbucking leads and rhythms to glassy single coil sweetness.
